Jorge Arce v. Julio Ler.
Ler just wanted to survive; yawnfest.
Deserves a mention.

Jermaine Taylor was another yawnfest, made worse by Lampley's absence. Merchant did the blow-by-blow.

you got to go with Johnny Nelson, deleon fight. Was there actually any punches thrown? would be interesting if some one watched the fight and counted them but don't ask me not going through that one again.

Carlos Palomino defending his welterweight title against some guy named Azcevedo (I think) back in the mid seventies. I wanted to beat up the referee for letting it go on. Made even worse because it was on CBS prime time on a week night and the undercard was excellent.

Michael Moorer v. Mike Evans was god-awful, especially after the fantastic fight between Kelley and Vargas on the undercard.

Kennedy McKinney v. Nestor Lopez was a yawnfest.

Just remembered JMM v. Freddie Cruz. This was during JMM's younger days when he was more cautious, and Cruz ran all night. Dreadful.

Audley Harrison vs Danny Williams 1 was pretty grim.

Thankfully I haven’t seen Johnny Nelson first two world title fights, though the sadist in me is intrigued. Just out of interest could Nelson have won these two fights had the nerves not gotten to him.

Yes and yes, especially the DeLeon fight.

Well, there were two KDs with counts, so there were more than ten seconds of excitement when you combine them.
:)

Holyfield - Valuev was dreadful.
Everyone always says Holyfield was robbed, but for my money it was the unfortunate viewers of this fight who were truly robbed!

The second one was waved off before the count finished, I imagine it's down as a TKO rather than a KO. The knockdowns were good, great straight right hand and uppercut to put him down for good, I just wish he'd have thrown them in the first.
Agree about wishing it had happened in the first. I think Bailey/Alexander will soon join this infamous list.

Speaking of Alexander, his showdown with Bradley was also horrid.

Alexander/Bailey definitely belongs on this list.

Has to be Nelson - De Leon. A real shocker Johnny Boy. Who remembers Gary Newbon in the post fight interview starting off with something like, 'well that wasn't very good was it, to Johnny Nelson. :D

John ruiz vs paulie malignaggi at cruiser. So a painfully thin ruiz and a very fat paulie

Hector Camacho Sr. vs Hector Camacho Jr. Sounds like an old Tuesday Night Fights snorefest.

Spinks/Malignaggi is worth a mention.

Though I don't think anything could top Tubbs/Page.

Everett (Bigfoot) Martin vs Marion Wilson. Who would throw the first punch? Would either ever throw the first punch?

I can't imagine anyone doing any worse than Byrd/Williamson

I never saw Tubbs/Page, from what Saad has said I gotta assume it's Byrd/Williamson except it was scheduled for 15 instead of 12...so it was 20% worse.
