...let them have an interim fight and make them mandatory for their old title. Add this to the previous defences?[

...This is a very generous offer, which neither Marciano or Leonard are really deserving of...

Leonard hasn't even confirmed that he wants to drop his belt. Crease has just proclaimed it, and also ignored the legitimate Lonsdale fight

Leonard would drop his title if this Lonsdale shot is fully legitimised, but not for some, silver, interim, emeritus crap. He won't get involved in the back and forth of how deserving he is or isn't, that is for the comish to decide.

Let's wait until BoxBuzz returns to settle the matter, he was the creator of the Lonsdale pride SimRing belt... Before this war of waords goes any further.

Both fights have a valid claim on being Lonsdalised...

As does the following fighters:

Adamj1987 - Peter Jackson, Pancho Villa
BigJuicyHog – Stanley Ketchel
BoxBuzz – Joe Frazier, Duilio Loi
DetroitHxC – Eder Jofre
jBacca – Jack Dempsey
Sweet P – Michael Spinks, Julio Cesar Chavez
Techno89 - Ray Robinson
The End – Roy Jones Jr
And with Jbacca's absence, Dempsey will be matched with the first fighter who calls him out.

It must also be noted that two of the above fighters are definitely going to be fighting for a World Title this week.

Sugar Ray Robinson is contracted to fight for the WBC World Title this week, as he is the WBC Mandatory Challenger.

Eder Jofre is contracted to fight for the IBF World Title this week, as a fight with him and Benny Leonard has been verbally agreed but not signed.

So, if the Lonsdale Belt is sanctioned for the Marciano vs Leonard bout, then both Robinson and Jofre will fight for the vacated titles against another top 10 contender.

If the Lonsdale Belt is not sanctioned, then Marciano will defend the WBC World Title against Robinson and Leonard will defend IBF World Title against Eder Jofre.

Just clearing things up here.

If you are telling the truth then by Buzz's 2nd ruling the Lonsdale Belt will be fought for by Roberto Duran and Joe Louis in their unification fight. For the time being, I will change the Matchups in the Week 15 thread.

ROBERTO DURAN VS JOE LOUIS
Of course, just as a confirmation, I will be expecting you to send that Private Mail (with the date on it, which you won't be able to edit) to BoxBuzz so that he can verify it and finalise the sanctioning of that fight.

HOWEVER, if this turns out to be a little white lie, the Lonsdale Belt will be fought for between Marciano and Leonard, as I can state with 100% confidence that I did indeed send a Private Mail to Mr Deadendgeneration.
sockdolager wrote:We have an issue here, Crease, just give us the fight and you or leonard get 1st crack.
Actually, next week the winner of Duran/Louis will have NO choice in who they fight... They will fight the WBA Mandatory Challenger, who at this point looks like it will be Harry Greb on condition that he doesn't lose to Jimmy Wilde this week.

If there is any doubt Crease do you not think, as half Commish, that benefit of doubt should go to the sole managers? You core responsibility is maintaining happiness in the SIM surely?

This is your first season in the Sim and you have the arrogance to tell The Commish what his reponsibilities are... The last time I did that, I was banned for a number of weeks...
Just sayin'

And to answer you, I am here to keep the Sim as updated as possible and to obey and enforce the rule of law. That is all.
Oh, and I also organise the Prizefighter ans Super Sim competitions...

And I would also add that the office of the Commish doesn't break the rules just because a miniscule faction has formed (JDC, Detroit, Sock) and with no inclination of obeying the rules and attempted to push through a Lonsdale Bet fight.

Second including a huge season last year.

I'm also not in the HOF as the 'biggest Noob in History'

Just sayin'

DetroitHxC wrote:We're not a "miniscule faction" Crease, we're just people that are about the little things, like facts and evidence.

Fact is we all know who's rightfully earned it, and that was the ONLY reason you jumped up and tried to put in a bogus claim for the belt this week.
A "bogus claim". Let me bring your dim-witted attention to The Ring Magazine's Championship Policy... ONLY THE TOP TWO FIGHT FOR THE RING BELT
And in some ocassions past, The Number has fought The Number Three for it.
If you don't believe me, go check it for yourself.
DetroitHxC wrote:Evidence shows that you were not the first to have the fight SIGNED.
Well not really. I did send DEG a Private Mail offering him the fight and he stated that he would accept any fight for the Lonsdale Belt... In other words, HE AGREED TO IT!!!
(even before Louis vs Duran was signed)

Are you having trouble keeping up?
DetroitHxC wrote:it's obvious you only did this because you were afraid of Duran-Louis being fought for the belt
Why would I be "afraid" of that? It this fight is Lonsdalised by Buzz, I say good luck to both of them. I just happen to be a supporter of The Ring Magazine's Champiosnship Policy, and I believe the top guys should always fight the the top honours... It's really quite simple.
Yet, you seem to struggle with that concept.
DetroitHxC wrote:And you have the audacity to act like you have a better fighter when you took the bitchiest route to the top of the rankings?
You really are one stupid motherfucker, aren't you? Have you checked Marcaino's record? He;'s beat Sugar Ray Robinson and Harry Greb... He voluntarily gave title defences to Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis.

If that's a "bitchy route" - then I'd haye to see what you think of Duran's title defences... Now, he took the asiest fights he could have gotten... And all in "The Mexican Way" of course.

Right boys, I'm moving/changing jobs. Leonard doesn't care if he smashes Marciano of Jofre, he just wants to get back in the ring as soon as possible.

Marciano withdraws his claim to the Lonsdale Belt. As such, he will valiantly defend his WBC Title against the Mando Challenger, Sugar Ray Robinson.

And with The Rock's withdrawal, his fight against Benny Leonard is hereby cancelled until a later time and as such, this turn of events activates a previously agreed verbal contract for the IBF Title as can be seen here:
DetroitHxC wrote:Benny Leonard, we call upon you to prove your status against your number one contender, the one top fighter that has eluded you thus far, EDER "THE MUSHROOM EATER" JOFRE!!!
Deadendgeneration wrote:If the Lonsdale fight is not sanctionable then Leonard v Jofre is on.
So, the Leonard vs Jofre title fight is signed, I believe.

Tell you what. Let Hamed in with Tyson next week, Danny v Kevo, man on man. Loser issues a public statement praising the greatness (and good looks) of the winning manager.

I'm sick of you has beens trying to throw me off my game.
