Superb... So we've got Letchworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Hatfield....
A couple more locals and I'm going to start a petition to get the glory nights (or at least some form of pro boxing!) back to North Herts

From Hull but I now find myself in Stanmore at the end of the Jubilee Line. Moved there last year from Merton Road in south London. If I was still there I could have joined jessi's Wimbledon/Southfields gang!

Don't forget Jack Daniel, Junior ABA champion 2011 - a few years off going pro right now, but a lovely fluid boxer with great combinations and reflexive defense. I absolutely loved watching him spar in my old gym (Tigers in Meanwood).Yes, the arena will help and, as you say, there are some brilliant young amateurs coming through. Jack Bateson is already number five in the world and looks like a tip for gold in Rio. Carl Johannesson beating up Ricky Burns at Leeds Town Hall live on SKY was probably the last biggish night. Did you box pro at the Irish centre? I used to go to most shows there watching Jamie Warters.

Two minute walk from the Newport Centre, where we have had a good few pro-shows over the past few years and its about a 15/20minute drive or train ride to Cardiff, loads of good quality amateur shows as well due to the thriving club scene between here and Cardiff, plus a few of the not too far away valley gyms.
