If you can be arsed - which you won't be, I'm sure - go and have a look and compare their promotions over the last year or so then.

Eh? Brook is trying to get an IBF title shot. He and his next opponent - Saldivia - are the top two rated in their division (two and three).
Ha! He is as well.
There goes my argument. You know, when this fight was ordered I read a small article about it online, I'd never heard of Saldiva so I went to see where he was in the rankings and I genuinely didn't see him, I think he was about 13th in the WBC or something like that, I must have just misread the IBF's rankings completely.
Still, Mack is a poor fight. I have no problem with it because of Froch's last few fights but Hearn is a boxing promoter, he's no different than the rest.
Easily done...I don't follow international boxing that closely any more and certainly don't follow rankings unless there's a purpose. I'm not saying Hearn is the second coming but he's putting on far better shows than FW of late.

That said all the members on here that could do a complete U TURN had Bellew won the title is a joke, I stated right from the start that Bellew v Cleverly should not have been for a world title and that Tony was not at world class, is Nathan? Who knows, I honestly believe that when tested he will come up with the goods, I know the kid has a heart of a lion and would fight absolutely anybody put in front of him without question, yes it is disappointing to see a talent not being tested but until he starts demanding better fights it is what it is. I wish him all the luck in the world and hope he goes on to fulfill his true potential, it is just so boring and annoying reading the same old crap from the same old posters most of which are Bellew supporters.
I hear you mate. I remain a fan of both fighters and just want to see them in defining fights that maximize their potential. My fear is that won't happen while Nathan remains with his current promoter

If I was Hopkins, I would seriously consider actually taking this fight. Low risk and decent reward as Warren would promote it well. Cleverly would be Bernard's first stoppage victim since Oscar. He would just toy with the Welshman before stopping him.
Like Bellew was going to destroy him in 2

Firstly, I didn't give a rat's ass about the Cleverly/Bellew fight, so if you're implying I predicted Bellew to stop him you're wrong, and secondly, it looks like you are actually comparing Bellew to Bernard Hopkins, in which case good day to you sir and good luck in your blind fanaticism!
It's also funny that Hopkins would say to Warren don't use my name to promote Cleverly, but then u-turns and says he is willing to fight him after all.
Bernard is going to be shocked how easy this assignment is. He hasn't fought anyone on Cleverly's level since Morrade Hakkar (although, to be fair, he did fight a good few bums at middleweight before that).

Larry Merchant: 'Bernard, you got paid for doing nothing tonight.'
B-Hope: 'You get paid for doing nothing every night, Larry.'

Taking away the thoughts of whether Cleverly is world championship material or not, this whole situation demonstrates the luncay of having four 'major' world title belts. Clearly there aren't enough credible challengers out there for four champions.

Just checking, when you say Bellew is 'by far a better opponent' - are you really talking in comparison to Bernard Hopkins or have I overdone the hallucinogens again?

Nice little Twitter war going on between gorgeous Eddie and Fwank regarding the 'offer' for Clev to fight Froch.

Easy payday or not,Hearns plan is for Froch to have a defense in Nottingham then get get the Bute rematch(should be for good money) over with, then try to get Kessler over for next summer.I dont think fwank ever expected Hearn to take the fight for those reasons and he also knows Clev would get beat and also it would have to be huge money for Hearn to agree for Froch to fight on allegedly considering his relationship with Sky it was never going to happen,It`s a insult to Froch to have Clev mentioned in the same breath as him personaly.Fwank should try to get Clev some credabile fights befofe they even think to fight Froch.

I'd rather see Froch V Cleverly than Froch v Mack and Cleverly v Uzelkov, and Eddie arguaments don't add up

They do mate because Froch wants to stay at supermiddle, not move up to lightheavy and fight a wbo beltholder in Cardif on allegedly for a little bit more money then he is going to get fighting Mack on Sky,it`s a pointless debate because the fight will never happen because of tv deals. If Clev beats someone like Cloud then the fight would be more interesting but untill then i would rather him fight Kessler once he has dealt with Bute.Clev is at the level Froch was before he fought Pascal so he has a little work to do imo if he wants a huge purse against someone like Froch( no matter how many welshies fwank could get hyped for this).

Interesting Mack turned down Clev to fight Froch, guess Eddie was offering more money than allegedly.

Just goes to show you can still get publicity for your fighter off the back of bigger and better names.
Look at everyone discussing it here. Clev is the most paper of champions in the entire sport right now. His strap is doing him more harm than good right now. If he mixed in real world class he would find himself outclassed and risking his health.

Fight cancelled and he is now on the undercard of Abner Mares definding his WBC Bantamweight title against Anselmo Moreno at the Staples Centre LA on November 10th. Opponent yet to be named but it is a Golden Boy promoted card with would add to speculation that it is a showcase for a possible clash with Hopkins
