Probably one of the best decisions of Hatton's career was not to fight Witter. It was a no win fight.

Is it me or are the commentators being biased towards Gavin.

To be fair, the crowd, the ref and his own trainer are having a go at him for not doing anything!

Witter can't be disappointed if he loses this fight - if you stand there with your hands behind your back acting like a clown you won't win rounds. He looks shattered too

I wouldn't want to put him in with a pigeon let alone an Eagle

Witter is a waste of time. The sooner he retires the better.

Well, witter is gone that's for sure, but do all the Gavin lovers honestly still think he is the next messiah?? I don't, I don't think Gavin is all that and I can't see what the fuss about him is I honestly can't.

Oh and stop bleating on about his great amatuer pedigree, so what??? It's what he does now that counts not what he did in the Ams.

We will see in time I suppose but he ain't all that, sorry.

P.s. congrats on the win though, what the hell witter was doing rounds 5-10 I do not know.

If Ochieng achieves a third of what Witter has done, he'll have had a good career.

Witter was atrocious. That has to be the end, he's stunk the joint out tonight and many other times. Imagine the horror show that Hatton v Witter would have been.

Happy to win some ca :TU: sh though

Well, maybe.

He wasn't always a waste of time though.

Very, very good fighter in his day.

Dreadful fight. The last we see of Witter hopefully. Scores were rather varied but Gavin won easily in the end.

Hard to believe Witter was a World champion. His style of fighting is just so horrible.

Junior is done as a competitive championship boxer, Frankie won't win the Welter Euro or any of the Worlds; Matthew Hatton will be chewing the bit for him  Junior was just done but did his best. Frankie looked comfortable as a welter and was lots bigger than Junior.

I was out playing pool tonight, but it sounds like I missed a cracker. As bad as expected then? Two styles that were never likely to clash.

Why is it hard to believe? On his day you could hardly land a glove on him and he could knock you bandy with one shot. Smashed Vivian Harris who had, at the time, just beaten some very good men.

I don't mind people saying he's hard to watch, etc. but don't denigrate his achievements.

In his prime he were a good puncher and had good form and timing (about 15 KOs on the spin I think), some very, very good fighters thought again before boxing him.

I caught rounds 6,7,8,9 and 10. I turned it off.
That's really bad luck.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11 and 12 were f**king great

A good win for Frankie.I hope this gives his career a boost and that he goes on to do well. Gutted for junior. His timing is not what it once was and he is not able to throw enough punches. Still, he has a career to be proud of.

I thought the ref was a bit harsh to take a point off junior for holding and not one off frankie for hitting behind the head!
