Remember eubank and naz on itv in the early 90's, could be wrong but think Tyson in the early days was shown Sunday mornings the night after on ch4 ?

Regional differences I believe..... Ah those were the days of truly regional TV.
Although HTV Wales was terrible for boxing - don't think I ever saw a Tyson fight live, always on after Wackaday! Other regions (e.g. Yorkshire) had Tyson on live AND repeated in the morning.
So it was ITV.

I remember George Collins. Used to fight on all Frank’s bills. Thought he’d be a star as he started young and got loads of experience.
Anybody knows what he’s doing now? Hope he’s doing well.

I've got the Edwin Rosario v Frankie Randall fight now, that one was at York Hall.

yes both boxers ended up going down the drugs route, at least Randall is still with us though.
I don't know the story as to why the Rosairio fight ended up in the UK , anyone know?

The only think I can think of is the Mickey Duff link to that card?
did he promote, along with John Mugabe, Cornelius Boza Edwards?
if so, that might be why Rosario/Randell were over...as a teaser perhaps to a future bout with Boza Edwards...It didn't happen even so
will have to do some Colombo work I think as that era and scene interests me greatly

It was in the UK because of Duff's association with Jim Jacobs, who managed Rosario. It was televised back to the States.

He did manage Rosario; I can remember readng a Tyson book and reading that Camille Ewald was really upset that Edwin and his trainers had wiped their arses on her towels, (as they weren't used to toilet paper in Puerto Rico). Made me laugh as I'd blocked a drain in Greece by flushing toilet paper when I'd been told not to.

I seen to remember that Kaylor v Christie was on Sportsnight not MWSS. Cracking fight while it lasted, domestic boxing used to be popular back in the day when it was shown on BBC and ITV

I am looking for my dads fights Kostas Petrou. all his videos got ruined. I know he has some fights on YouTube but loads of his fights aren't so if anyone has any of the fight night series or anything of my dad please let me know ASAP. He was always on ITV Fight night....

Recall Mugabi getting done by Duane Thomas, claiming (possibly legitimately) a thumb in the eye.
But I still remember being amazed at the way Mugabi cried off having seen him last standing up to Hagler.

That theme tune defo needs to make a comeback, it was pure class.
I'd love to know how far Gary Mason would have gone in today's heavyweight scene. A very underated HW.
