For me, Warrington. I thought he'd hugely overachieved by winning the European title. Did not realise there was a fair bit more to come!

That is another good call re Warrington - although perhaps his two biggest wins might have still flattered him a little. Selby was dead at the weight and Frampton looked shot in his last fight at world class.

I cant remember exactly who one of the older posters from brum (maybe orb)..used to say thomas costello was a shoe in to win a world title
