Curtis could have smelt the said keyboard warrior out by the overwhelming stench of shite that was coming out of the keyboard's mouth and backside all the way up to Sheffield if he cranked the window down on his car just a fraction.. But fair play to him he got the apology that he wanted... and I hope the keyboard warrior now thinks before he tweets...

This is funny stuff, but indicative of some of the plankton that this country now produces (no not you Mr Woodhouse). Whilst we shouldn't applaud illegal activity etc, it is getting to the stage where people will start becoming the local Charles Bronson (Deathwish actor, not Tom Hardy's mate).
but back to the serious side of this:
Curtis, you are convincing young man! So much so you are in my script which has just landed on Mr Brian de Palma's lap. He wants you to play yourself, so if the boxing gig doesn't work out, you will be, as posted earlier, the new Edward Woodward.
sneak preview of epidode 1. Edward Woodhouse (names have been changed to protect the innocent) is called to help a young man who has been getting abusive calls and texts from the smoke. Our hero, jumps into his motor and finds himself in Laahnnnden , where he tracks down an underworld boss, a bit down on his luck, who gives him a list of wrong #uns, that have abuse social networking and owe him money, and that must be eliminated, which include
A time wasting football ball boy from Swansea, an up and coming rival that is getting too big for his italian shoes, and savill row suits, and an incredibly old fashioned bloke from Kent, called Dan.
that's it, tangent over (but why, why did I submit this?)

You are all giggling like schoolkids here, but if Curtis hits im he goes down/loses lisence..if he doesn't hit him he will look a pussy. And if the guy feigns injury then the pro boxer who drove 50 minutes to bang on his door is going to struggle to explain that one away.
Seriously, this isn't the way to deal with trolls
I get where you're coming from but this is very rarely the case. Most of the people goading would run a mile if ever confronted and the people they goad know it. This was never going to end in violence. They think its make-believe until you put a face to it.
There was an article on the guardian about some fella who was getting hounded online which got completely out of hand with wreaths and shit mourning his passing sent to his wide. Turns out it was the kid of one of his friends who was about 15
Curtis was never gonna hit him. He's more intellegent than that. Just scare the sh1t out of him

Superb, not only good entertainment yesterday, but put a bully back in his box, someone who was sending messages to women saying they look like f**** pigs in their photos etc... About time he got his commupance, well done.

Curtis performed an important service, IMO. There are far too many people in society who feel they can act however they wish without any consequences.
Unless the chap is a complete retard, this will have done him a great deal of good and he ought to improve as a person as a result.

That seems to be getting lost here (The fact that Curtis didn't seem have violent intent) and the net is full of applauding Curtis for going to 'kick the shit out of him'.
Well, for anyone who thinks THAT is a great idea for fighters, Gary Delaney probably though he was justified punching some mouthy chav, and he is waking up to his porridge tomorrow morning
You have taken it the wrong way mate........do you honestly think if he was going to do anything he would put it all over twitter, he ain;t that stupid.....the only reason he was replying and doing what he did was to scare the shit oout of that twat. it was a fantastic way of getting his own back on an absolute bell end of a bloke who bit off more than he could chew.
Top top work Curtis woodhouse.

Yeah, seems I have got the wrong end of the stick.
I do think 70% of cyberspace think that Woodhouse just lost his rag and was going round to do business. It was these (incorrect) comments that I reacted to, solely out of interest in his career and liberty.
At no point did I think Woodhouse is a stupid person, just that he may have reacted badly to some vile comments. But as stated here, he had taken gloves ect.
I do think if you pick the wrong guy, then he has 50 minutes to shit is pants and to get six of his mates with baseball bats or worse round to protect his keyboard warrior ass, but I will admit, it was quite funny

It was good but not that good, couple of years ago somebody posted a picture of about 8 or 9 knackered cars, turns out a bunch of professional motorbike racers had a demolition derby with rental cars and that was the aftermath, every one of them written off and a sign stuck to one of them simply saying "sorry"
I lol'd
I've looked through this guys twitter and he's a horrible little turd by the looks of things, look back in December and he's threatening to give Lennox a slap! Imagine if he turned up on your doorstep?

agree with this.
here is a comment pulled from "jimmybrownpants" twitter:
"
retire immediately cant even defend a pathetic little title you are a complete disgrace #awfulboxer".
Supposing somebody's dreams of YEARS went up in smoke after a loss (generally I am speaking here, not that particular fight, which I have not seen).....you're sat on the end of the bed, head in your hands, depressed and then you read that ^^^^^ (above)........and by the sounds of it he does this to other people on a regular basis.
To be honest it smacks more of general patheticness than anything else. Let's hope that particular moron has become a better person as a result. Others should take note.

Especially when he'd given Curtis loads of shite leading up to the fight. You lose, then this twat pops up again.

I wonder how many more twitter followers Curtis has since this went global ?? ...hope it is true tho as everybody loves to see the bully get his just deserts, and we all love a good yarn

For the record, I think Curtis had about 9,000 followers before yesterday, and he now has c.22,000.
But this was NOT a publicity stunt, I'm certain.

What if he hadn't have been apologetic and had said the same things? How would he have been held accountable then?
Had it out with him verbally, maybe? I remember a boxing writer on this site phoning a boxer up and explaining his views in an article to him because the boxer had kicked off regarding it. By the end of the call the journo had explained himself, and the boxer told him why he disagreed. No blood was spilt.

There was always a massive risk being took, this guy could have rung all his friends and family and they could have made a nasty reception committee. Fair play to Curtis, he pulled it off beautifully but is the moral of the story is to keep off twitter - it must be the biggest arsehole magnet on the 'net.
