Closing in on 2 years I think.
The first elimination was September 8th, 2012, and unsurprisingly it was that noob Adam whose pick was eliminated first.

Down to the top ten (til Helenius fights again anyway). This is getting INTENSE....very very slowly. The winner of this contest might need to be crowned posthumously.

This is an exciting contest, but as slowly as some of them are matched we may be waiting 5 more years
for a winner.
Would of loved to have seen a tourney with these last fighters.

Hahaha. My guy is still in, so I'm on pins and needles every time one of these guys fights.

Unless there is an upset in one of the two fights left this year it looks like there will only have been 4 eliminations in 2014 after 17 eliminations in the first 16 months. Obviously as less fighters are left there will be more time between eliminations. At the pace of this year with the remaining 9 eliminations (no way Robert doesn't get back in the ring imho) that means a winner would be crowned around Mar. 2017
Having said that Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Tyson!!!!!!!!

standings updated. No recent eliminations, but records and schedules have been updated. Glazkov will likely stay in against Cunningham, Teper will likely stay in against Duhaupas (although admittedly I know nothing about Duhaupas, so I'm only guessing here--he has a good record, but my assumption is that Teper is the favorite). Jennings is most likely the next elimination when he fights Wlad.

Don't just assume that Glazkov is going to gett by Cunningham, at least if the judging is legit. He's already been given a gift draw with Scott, and Rossy could have gotten the nod in a close fight as well. If those guys can fight him close, I'm not sure how anyone could just assume he's going to beat Cunningham.

Lol I'm not just assuming. I'm not especially impressed with Glazkov and Cunningham is a very good fighter. But he is also 38 years old, and Glazkov is on the rise. I feel like Glazkov will probably outbox him, and as you said "unless the judging is legit". Glazkov has people behind him, Cunningham is on the last stage of his career. If it is close, and it probably will be at least somewhat close, Glazkov will likely win the decision.

Of the people in the contest are Rampage & I the only people still on Boxrec?
I know 3 or so of those guys are definitely MIA & the rest I don't recall seeing, but they could be on the British side more often than CS.

I'm still around and still in the hat - c'mon Ortiz, surely you need a couple of (years of) tune-ups once you serve your ban?

If the judging is anywhere near legit Cunningham'll chew him up easily.

On the rise, yet he needs a gift to get by Rossy who doesn't possess half the skills of even a 38yo Cunningham? I guess I could see Glazkov catching Cunningham, who doesn’t have the greatest chin at HW, or wear him down, but as long as he doesn’t gas out USS should be able to slap him around pretty good. And Cunningham also has the motivation that is sometimes lacking in US HWs.
While I can see someone expecting him to lose this fight, is there anyone who won’t be rooting for Cunningham?

He beat Rossy fair and square--it was competitive, but I had Glazkov winning. He did get a gift draw against Scott. No argument that Cunningham is the more skilled boxer, and as I said before I'm not especially impressed by Glazkov as it is. There is certainly a chance that Cunningham gets him--it wouldn't surprise me at all. With that being said, I do feel like Glazkov will outlast him and steal a close fight, if nothing else.

As expected, Teper and Glazkov stay in with wins this past weekend. Robert Helenius is scheduled to box this weekend, thus returning him to the active list upon completion of the fight.
