Wlad gets grief for his chin but in two of his losses, fatigue certainly played a part in the eventual stoppage.
You don't reach his level with a terrible chin.

I wrote an article after the loss to Thompson, citing Price reminds me of one historical English boxer by the name of 'Bombardier' Billy Wells. A giant in his time, he had a wrecking ball of a right hand, but after getting blasted out by the old, washed up Gunner Moir the word was out on Wells: go for his chin. I'm seeing history repeating itself here with Price.

I think Price is just a bigger version of Enzo.
I thought that just based on seeing his legs give way in the Olympics with headgear on and go jelly legged against Stiverne multiple times. And seeing a teenage Tyson Fury floor him in the ams with a very similar shot to Tony Thompson's cuff.
I think 'chinny' in Price's case just means feeble punch resistance.
He seems a nice guy, but like Enzo I assume it is just genetic and there is very little Price can do about it bar NEVER taking a punch ... which tbf in his first 15 fights thanks to the opposition and his right hand he pretty much managed up to The Skelton fight, but even if you watch the opening round it was rather worrying when Old man Skelton connected a few times and Prices's head snapped back viciously from some rangefinder shots.
Sadly I just don't think he can take a shot.
And at 30 without a new coach I just don't think he can overnight develop the defence to keep higher calibre fighters like Thompson off him for multiple rounds while he waits for his money shot.
If Thompson doesn't repeat the trick the next fighter above domestic level will I am sure tag him and it really seems just once is all it will take.

David Price needs a Ko2 win to even the score, anything less than that and Thompson will at the very least deserve yet another rematch. Why should Price get a rematch when he loses and Thompson not in case he loses? Cause Price is the "prospect"??? The only way David Price can leave Thompson behind after this fight is with a Ko1 victory and even that wouldn't really mean much in all honesty.
Lets look at how the other fight went, Thompson was never in any trouble at any time last fight, David Price never looked comfortable in there at any time vs Thompson, David Price never looked in control VS Thompson. Now what does all of that tell us? It simply tells us that Last fight David Price wasn't a better fighter than Tony Thompson was so if David Price manages to win this time around VS Tony Thompson he won't do it easily. So what is beating Tony Thompson really going to prove???? That he's a tiny tiny biy better than Thompson? Well that would be all good and well but just being better than Tony Thompson isn't really such a big achievement, it certainly doesn't mean that you're going to beat a Klitscko or any of the other top contenders.
This is really the wrong fight for Price to take, Price lost fair and square and the wise money would be on him not being ready for the rematch and even if he won it then he'd just get rushed into the next fight that he can't win. Davids handlers need to wise up, fire his trainers, put him on a nice long break to reinvent himself or.... just simply find themselves another golden goose cause the one they're working with won't ever lay any eggs with the way they're treating it.
Heh, me took too many punches to head, now me manager for this big boxer and me want him be champion, he lose last time so me put him back into ring to prove he better fighter than other guy, then maybe he get bigger boxing fights and become world champion and me become really rich. Stupid, stupid and fornicating stupid.

I suspect he is going to lose again. Thompson is going to cover up and wait for his chance for a counter. Brave, but foolish. Fact is though, you cannot polish a turd (unless you freeze it) - Price would demolish fury, but only because Fury cannot really punch and is poor technically and has a poor chin himself. Unfortunately, whether or not price wins the rematch, at some point, he is going to get tagged again with the same result. Lennox, and Wlad, were both tagged with the 'chinny' curse, but neither man was ever laid on his ass by a shot like that. Lennox was put down from massive shots from big punching heavyweights, and Wlad was fatigued and a-la frank bruno, didn't know what to do when hurt, and took several meaty shots before going down. I was big on Price, and chose to ignore the knockdowns at amateur level, because i thought maybe he hadn't physically matured, but clearly, he doesn't take a shot, and never will. At supra-european level, or even domesti level, you will get hit, and when it happens, he will capitulate...end of.

Against Sanders? Wlad was like a stricken ship after he was caught with a minute of the first round remaining - a round that had been pretty pedestrian to that point. I don't think fatigue was a factor. Corrie being nuclear was, however.
That certainly wasn't fatigue!
The other two losses he suffered clearly had fatigue issues attached though.

I give Price props for taking this fight.
How many times has Khan been called on to rematch Prescott? And how many times has he been criticised for not wanting to have anything to do with him? Khan is having a few redemption fights/easy wins to get him back in title contention, and he still wants nothing to do with a version of Prescott that has slipped into obscurity.
Price's world title ambitions could be effectively over if he loses again. For me that makes the fight a lot more exciting, because there's a genuine risk there. None of this fake last chance saloon nonsense that we get every time Audley fights, this could well be a genuine last chance saloon for Price. At least for his world title aspirations anyway.

I respect price and his team for this one too, but it makes sense, why knock over bums for 12 months and then get possibly ko'd again ?
As for khan, he would of fought Prescott the next day, I think you might find the avoidance of Prescott had more to do with a mr f W a r r e n

Think he'd still fight him?
If Khan is serious about redeeming himself after, why not fight Prescott now? Makes more sense than his current choices of opponent. At least Khan vs Prescott could be marketed as a revenge fight, and would sell.
The only people who'll be watching him fight Julio Diaz in Sheffield are his parents, three mates of his and a group of lads who meant to be watching the snooker but are in the wrong place.

Ha ha, I hope it happens one day but very much doubt it, the more Prescott loses the less chance

massive fight for price
his fan base was building and that will have stopped now as will be seen by tickets sales for this fight
if he gets beat in this he will be on undercards for his career or fighting in small hall shows
