Whereas butcher looks to be the best flyweight in Britain. A rematch at the weight above he doesn't need.

Just wanna say thanks to everyone who supported Iain a lot off people thought he wasn't ready for title level a think if there is anything he can take from last nite its that he belongs to be boxing at this level .

Very much so ... Very good fight , both lads come out of that fight as a real credit to the sport.
Hardly anything in the fight at all, could argue either way although I did edge slightly towards Satchell in the final three rounds.
Iain had a golden opportunity to finish the fight early doors but Kevin showed true championship heart grit and determination to survive and continue.
Keep up the good work .
Iain's time will come again , of that there is little doubt.
Well done both lads !

I'd never seen Iain Butcher box before and imagined that it would be easy for Satchell; Iain is a very, very good lad and I thought he had won the bout. I really hope he gets another chance to shine and that he doesn't feel too bad today; he really proved himself last night

He'll be back better and smarter after that experience of that there is no doubt. Unfair that that decision last night wasn't in his favour but it will only be a minor setback and he will be British Champ the next time he fights for the Belt.

I thought t would be too soon, although i have Not seen Iain box was just going by his record and how many fights etc just thought it would be too early (clearly NOT).. Didn't get to see the fight last night but from what i read he did great!! As a pro he is only starting off and by the sounds of it he will be the man at Fly weight Good luck.....

I'm annoyed how everyone on allegedly gave the fight to Butcher and then just swept it under the carpet as being 'a close fight' and not one person mentioned rematch. That's the least Butcher deserves. Credit to Paul Smith. He called it fairly and showed no bias. Sounded embarrassed by the decision to.

Butcher won it but Satchell came back strongly in the later rounds, it wasn't close though. Butcher won handily and couldn't miss Satchell with his right.

It was close Martin but after a bad start kevin gradually took control of the fight if you watch the fight back you will here our Paul myself and our team calmly telling Kevin that he didn't have to go crazy in the last round because we all felt we was ahead by a couple of points. Having said that I thought Iain was fantastic. Sometimes people can get carried away by what the commentary team are saying and regardless of the amount of respect and admiration my brother and I have for Paul smith we feel that he and his co - commentator got it slightly wrong. And all three judges agreed with us. One of whom was Scottish. I would also like to say that the way Iain and all of his family conducted themselves after the bout was a true credit to the sport.

Spoke to FM he said the same, it was tight but the way Kevin came back was like a true Champion and thats what won him the fight....

I had it a draw 114-114,couldnt argue either way,i like Satchell but i would have loved to have seen Butcher get it,he was inspired

I thought Butcher won, like many others; had it 115-113.
It *was* close, though.

If Satchell does vacate and move up surely Butcher will get a crack at the vacant title?
Could get his shot again very soon. But maybe Satchell will stay at fly and get an easy next defence.

Why not? It was close enough and there is a chance Satchell underestimated Iain.
