Rogan stopped a decent fighter in Sosnowski in the PF quarterfinals and I thought he did ok against Fury; he won 2 more rounds against Fury than he did against Audley in their rematch.
He won zero rounds vs Fury

A shot Audley is better than garbage like Wawrzyk. Harrison would spark him out early just like Povetkin did.
The thing is that Audley is deluded. Wawrzyk is poor yes, but he was built with a 27-0 record and the right connections to get that one payday. I doubt we'll see Wawrzyk again except on some dodgy European under-card.
Audley however, continues to get in way over his head and seems to convince himself that he'll win. He's had his payday with Haye and he may well have got another decent payday if he had plotted his way back better. Soon as it was announced with Wilder, most of us here shared a joke and gave Audley slim pickings while in reality we knew he'd get smashed. Why not take on a couple of the Euro bums and get a decent ranking and keep his momentum going? No he jumped straight back in against a puncher.
The only thing that Audley will do with this comeback, is set himself up for another 70 second hammering.
What does he need to make him realise that it is over?
HAHA Audley beats NOONE with an unbeaten record...

Rogan seems to get a pretty tough time from boxing fans (not sure why?), I've always found him pretty exciting to watch, normally tries hard, and has achieved quite a bit from nowhere really. Don't know what the Rogan v Fury fight has to do with anything? Fury is arguably top 5 in the world so no shame in Rogan losing to him at all. In a standard 10 or 12 round contest I still think Rogan beats Harrison.
IMO it's a shame Audley gets all the press and exposure and genuine 'come-to-win' boxers like Rogan get left out in the cold and from the looks of it can't get fights for sh1t.

I'd take that.
Chisora couldn't punch his way out of soiled nappy, but Audley would still wet himself at the prospect of fighting Chisora, so I'd take Chisora to beat him.

In what situation would one find themselves in, where there was need to fight their way out of a soiled nappy?

forcefraser wrote:Audley was ripped off in his last fight against Wilder. He came to win, that much was clear, otherwise why would he have used the word "redemption" in the build up.
I have watched the fight many times and truth be told he was loading up to drop the A bomb on Wilder when he was caught with a lucky punch that beat his face off. He was up and ready to rumble when the ref stops it far too early. Everyone could see that that if the ref had let that fight go on, Wilder was in for a world of pain. The ref did Wilder a BIG favour there (so much so that I smell a rat there, a pretty big rat at that)
Then we have the Price fight and the Haye fight, both of which Audley was winning clearly before he was caught with an unlucky punch.
I know there are many who will not agree with me, but for a cruel repeated twist of fate, A fofce would have won all 3 of those fights EASILY.
Redemption is a powerful force and Big Aud is gonna shock the world in his next fight. Not only will he throw a punch and maybe get past the first round, but he will show us us all the true meaning of the word belief.
Can he? Yes he can. WILL HE? YES HE WILL. SHOULD HE? HELL YEAH,
Hairs on the back of my neck went up with the last line!!
WAR AUDLEY!!!! Time for Vitali to retire methinks!

I still think he would beat John McDermott, so leave him to being the English champion, still an accomplishment, he cant be fighting any higher than though surely?! How are the board sanctioning the fights now... Its getting ridiculous.

I agree that Rogan is good value and agree he has nothing to do with anything. I was answering back at the quote. Pointless connection really by 'boxing'

Yeah to be honest, despite losing to Audley in the Prizefighter, I think Rogan would give Chisora a much tougher fight and if Chisora boxed like he did last time then Rogan could outwork him. There is a whole thread condemning Prizefighter, the format, the contest length, some even saying Matchroom should cancel it, yet when it's Audley people say "he looked great in Prizefighter" and claim his victories in it have some kind of relevance in normal 10-12 round boxing, pretty ridiculous.
I guess with Audley, he can sell the redemption line, the average punter (and a stupid number of hardcore fans) either buy into it or want to see him get knocked out, it sells tickets, promoters know he ain't going to win, so it's no-brainer fight to make.
Of course at this point it's all speculation that he is fighting Chisora. He might have just announced his comeback knowing there is the possibility of a payday, or he's probably had numerous offers from Europe and possibly Australia.

To rephrase, I thought he clearly
deserved to win the first two rounds, and if you disagree I'd like to know why; I don't see how Fury did enough to win those. Rogan certainly did much better in those rounds than he did in any rounds of the Harrison rematch.

Wawrzyk went the distance with Bertino, Harrison stopped him in about 30 seconds.

Thats just nonsense and a troll post. Many would like to see him fighting on the domestic scene and he is capable of beating 95% of them too. Why would he need to have his license revoked?

Nope i agree harrison would beat wawrzyk with relative ease and stoppage, but i think he would have been wiped out by povetkin on 1 round without throwing a punch. Wawrzyk was a better challenger than Harrison. Styles make fights and all that.
Edit: sorry if i misread you post i thought you were / are trying to say harrison would have done better.

No, I was just saying he is better.
However, I think there is a good chance Harrison could have done better than Wawrzyk, since Wawrzyk was complete rubbish.

Harrison is better and would be better if he boxed into his 50's but his temperament is awful which means that any good puncher that jumps on him will do him; all the skill in the world and good conditioning; he falls to pieces as soon as a few solid shots come in; I imagine he got knocked out real bad in sparring and it messed his mind up; he has bottle to burn, look at Sprott 2 but he cannot face a big hitter without going to pieces, going to the ropes and turning away/closing his getting himself out of there.
