Well Nav Mansouri had no bother with him and take a look at the stats to show the difference height and reach. Stop blowing smoke up Mr Average Eubank's arse.
Mansouri and Booth went the distance, have you even seen that fight? Because from what i heard Booth had hurt Mansouri a couple of times, it was a dust up and talk of a rematch. I think you just have some issue with Eubank Jr, in fact you seem to have missed that Booth has fought almost all his fights at middle and a couple at super middle. Nothing worst than a patronising guy who pretends to know what he is talking about but is just making shit up.Parson Cross wrote:Well Nav Mansouri had no bother with him and take a look at the stats to show the difference height and reach. Eubank has never weighed below 11st 8 1/4 lbs, but never above 11st 10lbs, i'm sure he can make Middleweight, but he hasn't done so yet.Finn wrote:Mansouri and Booth went the distance, have you even seen that fight? Recent statements by you -
Eubank hasnt managed to make middle weight for any of his fights and weighs in as a SMW - Bullshit!
Booth didnt have a physical advantage - Clearly he did.
Booth is a career light middle - 17 of his 23 fights have been middle weight or above, he fought for the MW EBU title.
Mansouri had no bother - I heard it was competative, maybe Coldwell could let us know (or someone who actually watched the fight).
Im starting to think you are a troll.
Finn - you're getting confused again. It was me who pointed out that Eubank hasn't made middleweight which you claimed was bullshit. Please point out any pro fight which he has weighed within a couple of pounds of the middleweight limit. If he is over this weight what weight category is he in?Finn wrote:Mansouri and Booth went the distance, have you even seen that fight? Have to disagree there mate, was a very close fight indeed, some of those at ringside (ex pros) even had Booth winning comfortably.Parson Cross wrote:Well Nav Mansouri had no bother with him and take a look at the stats to show the difference height and reach. All absolutely true but he's got no power and that is a major shortcoming at top level where Eubank sees himself.black panther wrote:For those criticising Eubank Jnr try to have a bit more perspective, regardless of what is coming from his mouth. He had a very limited amateur career (ten fights) and is only 23 years old. He beat Bradley Pryce in only his 8th fight which is impressive and prior to his last bout (for which he had only 10 days notice) he had been out of the ring for 7 months.
Given all of that I'm not prepared to write him off as purely a hype job just yet.
I've never criticised Eubank junior - I'm just in disbelief that someone thinks Booth had a massive physical advantage when 3 weeks previously he weighed a stone less!black panther wrote:For those criticising Eubank Jnr try to have a bit more perspective, regardless of what is coming from his mouth. Do you understand weight divisions ?
Middlweight is 160lbs or 11st 6lbs.
How many times has Eubank jnr weighed in at or below middleweight ?
Once.
And I'm talking bullshit
Well i may well be mistaken then but im under the impression novice pro's can weight in up to 165lb for middleweight as long as its not a title fight.Pugilist-specialist wrote:Parson Cross wrote:Finn,

The lightest he's been is 11st 8 1/41bs.
They probably can but we all know Middleweight is 11st 6lbs.Finn wrote:Well i may well be mistaken then but im under the impression novice pro's can weight in up to 165lb for middleweight as long as its not a title fight.Pugilist-specialist wrote:Parson Cross wrote:Finn,

Thats not really the point is it.Finn wrote:

Looks like i physical advantage to me bearing in mind he weighed in more than Eubank Jr sounds like its an issue you have with the weight he was 3 weeks thats the problem i should imagine he boiled down for it to fight at LM since he had been fighting at MW or above previously.Pugilist-specialist wrote:I've never criticised Eubank junior - I'm just in disbelief that someone thinks Booth had a massive physical advantage when 3 weeks previously he weighed a stone less!black panther wrote:For those criticising Eubank Jnr try to have a bit more perspective, regardless of what is coming from his mouth. All good points black panther. On the other hand, the British and Commonwealth champion at the weight that Eubank may perhaps make, is only 19 days older than him.
well it is and it isnt his opponents are weighing in at the same weight as him if its classed as 160 for novice pros surely the fights are SMW and should not be being classed as middleweight contests. However I was on a rant at the time and it sounded like it was being implied that he is weighing in at SMW with his opponent coming in at MW so i just blasted out a few quick lines, it usually happens when someone tries to be smarmy.DMA1987 wrote:Thats not really the point is it.Finn wrote:

I hope you are being hard on yourself mickey. I'd always pictured you and Hunter pumping iron together before sharing "supplements".mickey1975 wrote:I'm 6'4, can I claim physical advantages against David Haye? Maybe I'm being hard on myself, but he looks better than me with his top off.
no he hasn't....factParson Cross wrote: Eubank has weighed in at the Middleweight limit once in all his fights. Fact.
