By what exactly? When he was on this forum, the one thing Bellew tended to show was a decent level of self-awareness and consequently I suspect he'd have no real issue with people thinking that Stevenson's a more powerful puncher, for example, based on their respective performances in recent years.
If you're talking about people writing off his chances in the fight as a whole, I think the majority on here actually given him a shot if he sticks to his underrated boxing and takes Stevenson into the later rounds, but again, he'll also know better than anyone that he's up against it and it'll be his most challenging night in the ring in his career to date.
Crucially, I haven't really seen anyone on here describing it as a Holligan vs Chavez, Paul Lloyd Vs Marco Antonio Barrera or Jennings vs Cotto type of fight where he's horribly out of his depth, so I really don't think there's anything to get "massively insulted" about...

I favour Stevenson myself but I definietly dont think it's a foregone conclusion type of affair.

Bellew has done great to be expieriancing his second world title tilt in such time & he must be proud of the fact.
This fight is similar to fury & haye imo
He should go up to cruiserweight then. However he probably wouldnt because he wouldnt be as effective not having a size advantage over his opponents.

The old limit of 13-7 would of been ideal. I think he could still do well up at cruiser I think he'd be more exciting.

That's a really good question. I personally wouldn't, purely because Clev likes mixing it up too much and would inevitably ship some big shots at some point. If he could handle them, his work-rate would trouble Stevenson, but that's a mighty big 'if'.
The one thing Bellew has is a nice, educated jab that would potentially allow him to keep the fight at range. Clev hasn't demonstrated the same thing to me.

Adonis looks like a 3 round fighter - very powerful with a head full of steam but will slow down fast; Cleverley is a tough lad and very fit, his next fight against another big hitter Kovolev will speak volumes.

He didnt look like a 3 round fighter against Don George to be fair.

You're bang on. Unfortunately I don't think he'll get through it, but would be more than happy to eat humble pie if I'm wrong (if it even goes ahead of course  )

I think Adonis would stop clev, he loves dropping his hands too much and trying to show how good his chin is.

Bellew has shown more than once he can be more disciplined and fight 12 rounds to a plan. I give him more of a chance but still have Stevenson as favourite, esp in canada

I wasn't having a pop at the posters.i just think its incredible bellew has quickly surpassed domestic level & looks onwards with his attitude towards critics.
You have to massively favour Stevenson on both fighters recently form plus home advantage bellew just has to show he belongs at this level.
People could call Adonis a blown up super middle & bellew a boiled down cruiser

Reading these post's , my literature is disgusting & I don't understand it myself

Thanks deserter on understanding ha! I know what I mean!!

I think tony could be called an over achiever in some respects in what my point was.

I like bellews fighting spirit & heart/character although the Mckenzie fight has robbed him if somthing & there was weakness in leaving the warrior IMO.
