The situation isn't helped with FW's obvious conflicts as both a promoter and a broadcaster.

A simple solution, in my mind, to the 'not enough action' debate would be to link up with some of the better quality small-hall promoters - Steve Goodwin is the first that springs to mind. If BN did a deal with him, you could have regular cards on a Friday night, showing Area/English level fighters at traditional venues such as York Hall. Maybe not the highest quality, but entertaining and exciting scraps. This could then be supplemented with larger Queensbury shows and international action on a Saturday.

Of course, this scenario is unlikely to happen whilst FW is promoting - he is not wanting to give rivals a leg up.

P.S I know BN show 'Box Academy', but I don't think that's particularly regular?

A very good idea as long as they got paid just the same as in any business it's usually a nightmare getting paid by a limited company and this is just a general observation and not aimed at any company in particular

There have been televised boxing shows around the world in august, BN just hasn't bought any.

I thought allegedly did alright during August. I was happy with what I got for my £10.00.

17th August - Nathan Cleverly Vs. Sergey Kovalev
21st August - Daniel Jacobs Vs. Giovanni Lorenzo (Tape delay)
24th August - Juergen Braehmer Vs. Stefano Abatangelo

I was a little disappointing they didn't pick up Abner Mares Vs. Jhonny Gonzalez on the 24th August but September isn't looking too bad at the moment.

07th September - Seth Mitchell Vs. Chris Arreola
14th September - Marco Huck Vs. Firat Arslan
14th September - Floyd Mayweather Vs. Saul Alvarez
21st September - Billy Joe Saunders Vs. John Ryder

Buncey hinted last week that allegedly will pick up the FOX broadcast of Shawn Porter Vs. Julio Diaz on the 12th September.

W@rren did promise that allegedly would show 8 live cards per week. At the moment they average about 5. As long as there is a live show every weekend, I'm fairly happy.

Would adding small hall shows significantly increase subscriber numbers? I personally don't think so. It may help maintain them.

Using Ives' money to hook into some big name UK fighters & secure the rights to show the best international matches, in addition to making the most of an advertising platform (talkshow) on BT Sport is the right approach to either increase subscribers and/or work towards some sort of buyout, I think.

Probably not, but that wasn't the argument. I was merely suggesting a way of getting more regular cards on air (which is what people were moaning about).
