He's three years younger than Frampton who was a very good amateur, while Quigg turned pro two years before Galahad. So he should be behind those two. Plus they are at world level, he's just won the British title. So they are unfair comparisons, albeit ones he encourages

Galahad's 3 years younger, but he turned pro 3 months later and has only had 1 fight less than Frampton.

But Carl was a far better amateur. Imagine there's a few welters who turned pro the same year as Gavin but aren't as advanced.

There are, but that's the fight he wants, for Hennessey to ask whether Frampton will "step up" and fight Galahad is laughable, it would be a big step back.

Yeah I cringed when he said that. Frampton and Quigg are some distance ahead. Galahad isn't overburdened with potential challengers but Gavin McDonnell may be one.

Was a bit disappointed with Galahad tonight, which says a lot seeing as he has just stopped Dickens who himself was rated fairly highly. I felt like he didnt do himself justice.

But still a cracking win.

Thought Dickens did himself proud tonight but he was spent .. if he could build up the fitness then Dickens could be fighting for some decent titles..

found it such a difficult fight to score tired to go with gut in the end and had Galahad (bazza) up by just by one round before KO ... was a little perturbed by stoppage until finding out that the corner supposedly pulled him out...

Oh PS did anyone else think that in some parts espcailly movement that Dickens looked pretty hattonesque.... or was that just me

i thought more paul ingle. galahad was a bit classless not showing dickens much respect after the fight I thought. considering he was giving him fits.

Overall a much better effort in terms of production from Channel 5 this time with the exception of the ridiculous actor in the galahad profile.
As for the fighting Eubank looked good but both Galahad and Hughie Fury looked beatable.

Good performance by both fighters and excellent finish by Galahad , I didn't think the Kid had much pop in his gun but Dickens's tank looked completely empty.
Galahad's interview after was abysmal, no respect shown at all for Dickens who'd given him all he could handle.

exactly and they had to pay extra for it so it was worse than pointless otherwise a much better effort than the previous show they put on though.

Yeah, I don't know why the ingle fighters STILL feel the need to copy hameds banter. It's just embarrassing. Even Dom looked tired and embarrassed by it. Saying that, at least Naz had a slight sense of his own ridiculousness, even he would have given respect for such a gallant effort.
