i like watching Froch but i hope Groves wins this ,

Frochs statment that he stood infront of Kessler and let him hit him as he was wanting to make the fight more intresting is one of most dellusional things ive heard.

since going with Eddie he seems to have got caught up in his own hype and status , hes a tough tough man but hes by no means unbeatable and as good as he thinks he is.

Groves needs a good plan though to get through this one and if Groves should spark out or beat Froch well then Froch will be struggling to paint over it.

if the fights close then froch will try and convince the world and himself he won hands down

The sad thing is that there is absolutely no need for Hearn to pay decent money to make a great undercard as the general public only care about Froch v Groves. Eddie has said it is on track to sell way more PPVs than Froch-Kessler, showing that an all British world title match up with a bit of genuine needle will sell well.

Even a huge portion of the fans that pay for tickets to see it live will spend the night getting pissed before staggering in for the main event and I doubt many of the PPV buyers even know who Gethin or Crolla are.

At what stage did Carl "dominate the super middleweight division" as he said on "behind the ropes"? Has he ever been number one?

Sorry if been mentioned elsewhere but what time are we expecting ring walks for the main event?

I'm not trying to be harsh here, but Carl seriously overestimates his own popularity. As a taxi driver, I speak to hundreds of people a week. If the conversation comes round to sport and I bring up boxing, around half have never heard of him. If I say "you must be joking, what about Amir Khan then?", every single one has.

It seems odd considering that Froch spent most of his early career saying Calzaghe was ducking him, that he'd care what another fighter had to say.

Khan's a gobby shit though to be fair who's been in the papers a fair bit for his scandals. On top of that, he had all the fan fare of being a 17 yr old, silver medal winning olympian.

I wouldn't call a normal interest in sex a scandal though, based on what the media see as scandal it's a good job I'm not a famous sportsman.
