For me ... and dare I say it, I think the Ingles style of training does not suit a heavyweight, just an opinion as I think Brendan, Dom & John have done fantastically well over the years ... when Richard sparred at Hayemaker my opinion is he definitely did really well ... he kept his hands up and boxed bloody well against some top class sparring partners in my view. Richards spars especially against a top amateur heavyweight Filip Hergovic were a fantastic watch.

Don't be so defensive. Obviously, they have done brilliant with him but maybe Spud has a point. It doesn't mean you're anti-Ingle if you don't think everything they do is perfect.

Clifton Mitchell. Did Sam Sexton do a bit there as well? The Jamaican bloke, I forget his name.. There will have been a few over the years. I think Adam Fogerty trained there for a bit as well.

Spud's point was that Towers was holding his own with top heavys. A few years ago he had never boxed. That's a big improvement if he had only been trained by someone who couldn't train heavys.

I can't believe I forgot Baker, a friend of mine boxed him. Or Hide. I knew there would be loads.

The Price-Booth split is surprising to happen so quickly. I would love to hear what really happened but I suspect either Sauerland were an influence in it or that Price realised Booth wanted too big a slice of the pie. Also, if I was Price I would be wanting to be the main man requiring Booth's full attention and not playing second fiddle to Haye. Maybe he didn't feel he was getting that?

What I would like to see now though would be Price to explain to his fans whether he did actually have a virus or whether he lied to them to get the fight postponed while he sorted out the Booth situation.

Obviously I know nothing of the real reason for the split but if it was because Price doesn't like London then I'd be disappointed with his attitude there.

I understand he may miss his wife/partner and kids but sacrifices sometimes need to be made to achieve your goals. If anything, I think Price needs to get away from Liverpool during training camps and focus solely on making improvements technically and mentally. I'm not sure it will work with Brooks if he is just flying in for a few weeks here and there for training camps. Price needs a full time trainer who will advance him technically and mentally and Booth would have been ideal in that regard, particularly on the mental/psychological side of things which is clearly a deficiency of Price's.

During last weeks Bunce podcast Price confirmed his reason for leaving Booth was because although he enjoyed the training he didn't like London and he wanted somebody who could do the last six weeks or so of camp in Liverpool.
