Enzo really shouldn't be in there. He can't see at all out of that eye.

Terrible corner work in the Enzo corner. Do they not have an endswell?
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
What a brave man, he's still throwing hard; his eye looks horrible.

Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
This could be worse than lebedevs injury.
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
He's done, what a shame the eye went so early.ShadrachSimmo wrote:This could be worse than lebedevs injury.
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Braehmer is shite - one two then hold - dogshit - holding has become legal nowadays
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
The fight should of been called off in the first few rounds and it of been ruled a no contest.

Enzo can hold his head up high
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Feel for Enzo there, gave Braehmer a few problems with one eye and landed some good shots, but he just couldn't see the punches coming.palooka wrote:He's done, what a shame the eye went so early.ShadrachSimmo wrote:This could be worse than lebedevs injury.

He's good, he's fast and hits hard, he'll be hard to beat and has beaten some really good names am and pro.

Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Makes you wonder why Martin Ward wasn't give the same chance the other week?
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
He wouldnt beat Stevenson and Kovalev. I'm not sure he would of beaten Enzo with two eyes.palooka wrote:He's good, he's fast and hits hard, he'll be hard to beat and has beaten some really good names am and pro.
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Damn shame, he looked decent in there, certainly putting in a decent performance given that he only had one eye and Braehmer was 1-2 then hold all night. Hard luck.
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Anyone else notice that Enzo's chin held up well tonight aswell? It's a real shame.
Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Though I didn't say that; he is the 3rd (or 4th) best and Enzo didn't have to retire, he was in the fight alright.columbo wrote:He wouldnt beat Stevenson and Kovalev. (edit: I mean he ought to continue to box, not that he shouldn't have been pulled out tonight.)

Gutted for Enzo, even his other eye was going. Signs of a long hard career? An injury in training?

Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Enzo had some success with the eye closed. We'll never know. Doubt they'll be a rematch but Enzo can continue at domestic level if he still wants to fight on.columbo wrote:He wouldnt beat Stevenson and Kovalev. Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Gutted there for Enzo, it looked like it was going to be a really interesting fight and he certainly didn't look out of his depth. The injury was bad though, looks like a break and that will take a long time to heal and potentially a risk in the future now.

He didn't look out of his depth did he?

Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
Hopefully they can try and make it again. Braehmer is not exactly overly keen when it comes to tough challenges and I cant see him calling out the big dogs of the division.ShadrachSimmo wrote:Enzo had some success with the eye closed. Re: Braehmer v Maccarinnelli
On retirement talk: If the eye heals then there's no need to retire, depends how the injury goes really. He certainly looks fitter and stronger these days than a couple of years ago, it'd be a shame to retire on that.
