Applaud Wlad for fighting a clubfighter, deride Bowe for not fighting Lennox Lewis in his first defence. Your powers of critical analysis are strong.

Hey, remember in 2006 when Wladimir was offered a rematch with reigning IBF champ Chris Byrd, or a rematch with reigning WBO champ Lamon Brewster? Byrd had already been easily beaten by Wlad and looked washed up, Brewster had humiliated Wlad and was on a roll of violent KOs.

Wlad chose to rematch Byrd.

That's Wladimir klitschko for you.
I guess the same goes for David Price turning down Chisora and giving up the commonwealth belt so he didnt have to fight Lucas Browne.

Fury would get stopped by Wlad within 3 or 4 rounds if he tried to put it on him.

Yep. Fury can win, but he'll need to fight like he did against Kevin Johnson.

It's funny how Fury talks about Wlad running from him when he's turned down the fight on at least two occasions.

To be fair she's the only reason I'm still watching.

Absolutely no point watching Fury or Collins. At least Fury is relatively entertaining I suppose. Collins, great fighter but a right bell end as a man. I still remember him petulantly walking off when Sky had him Roy Jones, Calzaghe and Woodhall around a table.

In other words, you have no reasonable or intelligent response whatsoever, as usual.

Lennox Lewis gave up the WBA title rather than fight John Ruiz. Employing your narrowminded, borderline moronic anti-reason & logic that makes Wlad the better man.

You're far more amusing when you're telling us, with a straight face, that Alex Povetkin categorically will beat Wlad K because the 'you can feel it'.

I think Collins is Fury's agent isn't he? You'd think so listening to his drivel.

Tonights fight has damaged the heavyweight division. :OhYes: What skillful, controlled, effective boxing???

Mayweather's shit then, so is Riggo.

What a plank!

has he though? the klits tend to sent out completely stupid offers and then say people have turned them down when really they were just pricing themselves out. Like they did with Valuev i.e. you have a world title but we'll only pay you £1 mil out of £30 mil and if you dont sign today we will only pay you £500k instead type rubbish.

I'm full of wine and codeine, why on earth would I make an intelligent response?

I got the result of a fight wrong. Wow, none of us have ever done that before. :oo

How can they be pricing themselves out though when Wlad holds nearly all the belts? It's not like they're mandatory.

Mayweather's poo then, so is Riggo.

What a plank!

Difference is Mayweather and Riggo fight guys who are supposed to be good - Saul Alvarez is still one of the best fighters out there, Floyd taking him apart is impressive and for boxing purists good to watch. Wlads fighting complete dross its completely stupid - how the hell can a guy who lost to kevin johnson, who is also ranked below lucas browne in his own country get a shot at 4 world titles?

While i agree Collins seemed to be licking Furys arse bit, Fury actually hit the nail on the head - Why isnt he fighting Wilder, Jennings, Chisora, Fury? Pulevs outs there as is stivern, David haye may even be an option (he may work a bit harder arehabilitating his shoulder if wlads on the cards) looking back on that boring ass fight it was actually more exciting that any wlad fight since. Povetkin tried but wlad just cheated and made it boring.

Leapai was his mandatory and Wlad wants to keep his belts....pick your fight with the WBO.

Povetkin was probably top 3 when Wlad fought him, so I don't get this "why won't he fight anyone" bit. Jennings has one decent win and that was over a prospect, Stiverne and Wilder (LOL--come on, the dude won't fight anyone) have been aiming for the WBC belt, Wlad already dominated Haye, Pulev said he needed more time to prepare, and Chisora has only recently put himself back into the title picture. I don't know about the others, but you cannot always assume that it's Klitschko getting in the way of those fights happening.

Theres nobody out there worth even 70-30 split against wlad to be fair. The fight would be in Germany with Wladamir the huge draw. Whats any sensible manager going to do "hey tyson, we'll give you a 50-50 split even though youve beat nobody and our guy is 80% the draw" . If youre that confident of winning its a loss leader, take the half million, win, then you hold the cards. Losing to wlad doesnt lower your stock either.

Another thing that's quite amusing is that you see a lot of people and current heavyweights saying that the opposition is poor, etc, but I dont remember seeing Fury being overly keen when Thompson called Fury out.

Why hasn't Floyd fought Manny or Amir Khan, why did he go for the easier option in Maidana?
Why hasn't Riggo fought Santa Cruz or Frampton or even Quigg?

I'm not saying that either of the above are avoiding anyone but you can't use the argument against one person but not against another.

Who exactly is Wlad avoiding? Fury? Come on, seriously? He fought Haye, he fought Povetkin both were about as serious a challenge as there was at the time.
