It reminded me of the footage of Khan sparring in the build up to Garcia and he was shown getting tagged and we all know what happened there!!

Froch vs Groves 1 - What were the judges score cards at the time of the stoppage?

Woefully incorrect.

From memory two judges had Groves 1 ahead and the other had Groves 5 ahead.

76-75x2 and 78-73 all for Groves

I had it 78-73 Groves and the closest I could see is 77-74.

76-75 is a mile out. I cannot for a second, see how you could possibly score it that close.
Many of those rounds were completely one sided.

sometimes when you watch a fight and a lot of the rounds were close, you see a score card that is 4 or 5 point different from your own and you can understand where a few rounds would have swung the other way,
but groves was dominant in the rounds he won. Think I might have to watch the re-run today

I had it 78-73 Groved at time of stoppage,wouldn't argue with 79-72

Awful?! He got dropped heavily by a shot which would knock out 95 % of fighters in all likelihood and then got hit with the kitchen sink for the next 6 rounds atleast. If that's awful punch resistance. God knows what good looks like.

I wouldnt read too much into that. Groves got beaten up by Eubank jnr in sparring before the first fight, im sure of it.

Ok awful was a bit strong, but to me he looked like he could have gone at any moment. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on Froch, but there's surely no arguing that his punch resistance has got quite a bit worse - compare it to the 1st Kessler fight when he took massive shots for 12 rounds without taking a backward step.

His legs buckled in the first Kessler fight though if you watch it back.

Because before one of his fights, might of been the first Froch fight actually they done another one of these shows and he was sitting down in a chair looking all pensive and the narrator said he'd just endured a torrid sparring session with Eubank jnr.

Also noticed on matchrooms site this morning (although it was playing up) seems Joshua's fight now over 6 not 8. I know I know it probably won't matter.

So do i, his head had slumped and his arms were dangling down. But hey, George says he wasn't so he wasn't
