I agree to that... We sometimes do not agree much, but in this case, like sometimes we do, I agree with you 100%. The great Sugar Ray Leonard gave Hearns the rematch because he thought that the great Thomas Hearns was washed up.

Yes he did. He said in the New York Post back in 1988. I read it. He said "Put Louis and Ali at the same age of 20 when I won the crown and both of them would get knocked out easily"

Regardless. That doesn't change Leonard's position at the time and frankly I doubt Ray thought of himself as being "prime" either.
