I've dealt with purse scenarios and contracts for a long time including fights home and abroad. Abroad includes Euro title fights in Europe and World titles across the pond.
I learnt a valuable lesson many years ago when I discovered that Promotors for Euro titles were responsible for the fighters tax - and that payment could be made in Euros.
I'm not going to be specific because there is a thing called Client confidentiality but fact is there are many many variables.
Of course Managers take varying percentages anything up to 25%.

There are many instances where Managers have a % deal but choose not to take it off the fighter.
As with all professions there are ways of being tax efficient.
I would always have higher earners create a Ltd Company to arrange the fight and pay the fighter a wage.
However as an ex pro Tear Up surely you are best placed to put us all right.
