LOL, you're a funny dude and I mean that in the worst way too. Personally I'd love to see Floyd school Lara, you think he's something special when he couldn't even get passed Canelo. Floyd would show him what real boxing is, his so called "Cuban" school didn't reveal anything special at all, but I suspect you're only so impressed by it because you want to see someone (anyone) come along and beat Mayweather so it'll fulfill your fantasies of someone KOing him.
Too bad, you'll never get to see your fantasy come true, nor will you ever see Lara face Floyd because he doesn't have the balls to run through Canelo to get it.

Lara's balls are not a subject for discussion. They are big enough to call out GGG. I doubt that Canelo's are of comparable size.
Lara schooled Canelo who looked like a raging corrida bull who is always tricked by a skilled matador. We all know that the only reason Canelo got the decision is the corruption of professional boxing.

I'm with you on this one.
What really sickens me are the supposed boxing experts who are perpetuating the idea that you can't win a fight while "running". I understand that it may not be entertaining, but educated observers shouldn't make foolish comments like that. But whatever, boxing is behind Canelo.
I think it's clear to see what's going on here. Most people who thought Lara won, understand that it was close. It's only Canelo fans who are trying to make it seem like Canelo won clearly.
Floyd better avoid a rematch with Alvarez. As long as Canelo is more active than the first fight, he will get the decision ... I can't believe people are supporting a view that Canelo won 9 rounds Saturday night.

I agree. I've seen countless lines akin to 'you can't win a fight on the back foot', which is pure BS.
It does also seem like most people who thought there was a clear winner had it for Canelo, although I'm not sure if that's largely down to fan-boyism

Canelo Alvarez good puncher, aggressive comes to fight and he's a nice guy.
But he can't box, he's clumsy, punches wide, misses a lot and is very inactive for many periods.
Due to the fact he's a big money draw he's going to be protected and that's all there is to it, yeah a draw was possible but I thought Lara won.
117-111 strongly suggests that you're probably going to see many more of these types of scorecards for Canelo in the future so don't be surprised when it happens, hell someone even had Canelo drawing with Floyd so what does that tell you.
I enjoy watching Canelo and all the hype and fanfare surrounding him, but I don't really take him seriously because his people clearly have the powers that be in their back pocket.
That's boxing and if you haven't learned by now you never will.

So are you saying the judges were paid off?? I just see things differently than you, sure Lara boxed well for a few rounds but after he got cut, he really got on his bike and rarely threw anything with any real conviction other than a nice uppercut but after that he just stayed on his bike and hit the pedal while Canelo simply walked him down calling his bluff about how he has no respect for Saul.
It would've been a robbery if Canelo would've lost but it's no robbery that Lara lost, he simply didn't do enough consistently throughout the fight even though he was landing the cleaner punches.

The 117-111 judge was definitely paid off, blackmailed or was influenced otherwise.

It doesn't matter if Alvarez "walked him down" or threw punches "with real conviction." . . If you are going to come forward you have to be able to cut off the ring and land effective punches (or any punches). Alvarez barely did either. You don't get automatic points for coming forward. Lara outboxed Alvarez plain and simple, regardless of whether it was entertaining. Jeez going by some of ya'lls logic you'd have George Foreman with a landslide over Jimmy Young . . and hell Foreman HURT Young in that fight, something Alvarez was never able to do Saturday.

Very well said

I was planning to say something like that but there is no point to keep arguing with somebody who will not change his mind.

Solid breakdown of the Saul situation.

You seem to have the opposite motives. So stop being a troll and worrying about Brut every damn chance you get. You know he's a Floyd fan, we know you're Floyd hater.. What's the difference? You follow him around like some teenage boy picking on the girl he likes all the time, stop being such a douche.. Just saying.
I am not a Floyd hater, and I am not the only one who sees one reason in most of Brut's posts. Being a fan of Floyd, BHop, Andre, Bradley and other fighters who are known for their defensive skills (and low work rate for some of them), he refuses to give Lara the same treatment. If any of the fighters I named were in Lara's place, they would be declared winners by judges and Brut.
The people who watched the fight seem to be pretty evenly split on who won the fight. So I don't see how you can justify that someone thought Alvarez won solely based on being a Floyd fan. It was after all a close fight.

If you wanna know who won, look at their faces at the end of the fight. Lara was cut but smiling up on Shield's shoulders while Canelo was face was more swole up and red than in the Floyd fight and he had a disappointing look on his face until they announced the winner.

First of all, I didn't say "solely". Second: as I mentioned above, Brut normally appreciates skills above brutal force, but in this case he made an exception to favor an awkward wildly swinging fighter and not a fighter with awesome movement and accurate punching.

Canelo supposedly schooled Lara but then say Floyd beat Maidana with ease.

It's been a long time since I watched it, but I had Canelo winning clear like 116-112 or 117-111. His body shots were easily the most damaging punches of the fight. I never got the controversy on this one.
I remember people claiming Cotto vs Canelo was questionable. That one is even more mystifying.

I dont remember him landing eight or nine rounds worth of those damaging body shots.

I think Canelo beat Cotto. It was one of those "close but clear" ones.
I think the scorecards were just too wide though.

This is the crappiest fight that gets referenced continuously on boxing boards
Canelo won about 7 to 5 or 8 to 4
Professional boxing is scored primarily by clean effective punches. Canelo land clean effective body shots
Lara ran
Canelo is the star and reality is he is going to get the benefit of the doubt ESPECIALLY is the opponent is running

He beat cotto clearly but 10 rounds was a bit wide
He beat trout close too i never thought that was controversial either
Canelo has had dubious cards though. He didnt dominate trout or cotto or GGG or even kovalev and certainly wasn't close againt mayweather yet certain judges seem to give him every close round

Those body punches were so effective, that Lara still was able to run.
