Soliman has climbed to a -350 favorite. Taylor backers can get +250.

In the proposition bets, Soliman is a solid -160 to win by decision and +400 to score a KO.
Taylor is also +400 to somehow score a KO, but a hefty +850 to win by decision.

The overs/unders is 9.5 rounds with the overs a very strong -500.
You can get +330 if you feel the bout will end earlier.

So all in all, the oddsmakers feel that Soliman will score a convincing decision or win by a late round stoppage.

Without knowing anything else, these odds make it seem like the fight is in Australia.

Though to me, it looks like Soliman is still about -275 or -300.

Soliman stoppage 4/1 looks good.

I can see a totally shot Taylor getting hit often and the ref stepping in.

Only problem is Soliman is busy but not exactly a crisp puncher and really has no power at all.

Still, I think those odds might be good value.

At this point in time I think Taylor Swift would give Soliman a harder fight than Jermain.

Agree with you totally.
Have the feeling you'll see real early that a shot Taylor has no chance. Will get hit repeatedly and have trouble getting off his own punches.
True, Soliman is no puncher, but a busy guy like him is going to connect often and wear down a depleted, faded Taylor.

Geez, the guy had a brain bleed in the Abraham fight and he's now stepping in with an alphabet champion. I'm certain the commission has spoken with the referee about not letting Taylor take too many clean shots. They don't want a tragedy to occur. That will really make the Miss. commission (along with the IBF) look bad.

BTW, you're not the only one who feels those 4/1 odds on a Soliman stoppage look good.
Apparently the bettors agree with you as the books are now offering only -350 on the champion by KO.
A decision victory by the Aussie now only garners -150.
Sharpies recognize that a damaged Taylor doesn't belong in the ring, much less in a title contest.

Taylor (Jermain) beat Truax, after getting his brain hurt against Abraham. He may be shot, but he's still a danger... and Soliman isn't that special. Maybe he will surprise a few of people today, and if he only gets past round one, he would already do better than Taylor Swift.

Truax? Man that's a huge win. Truax who dropped him? Truax who drew with Ossie Duran this year?

Taylor is finished. There's always the possibility he could be PED'd up for this but not even that will
help his brain and shot legs.

It was also 2.5 years ago, which can be a long time for someone who was clearly regressing. It may seem like a recent fight, but that's probably because he's only fought twice since that bout, incidentally against very weak opposition.

Truax is an ESPN 2 level fighter. Seen him there on multiple occasions.
A tough win over him doesn't exactly send Taylor's stock soaring.
Of course, tonight, Taylor is nothing more than an ESPN 2 fighter also.

Soliman looked absolutely horrendous in that first round. Maybe he was just feeling JT out but that was pathetic.

Second too. This could be a 12-round shitfest unless Soliman starts engaging a little
