I think the sad thing is that having met many young men who have committed this type of crime they will show no remorse at all and will only feel anger at their victims for being caught.

I have talked to young people who have committed this type of crime and they all say things like

"if that guy hadnt been there I would not be in prison now"

"he grassed me up"

" they shouldnt have been there, it is their fault I am inside because they were in the wrong place"

A saw a newspaper report today saying that Brooks girlfriend didn't visit him in hospital on Thursday because she couldn't get out her apartment block because it was cordoned off for forensic examination.

When an area is cordoned off everyone is removed from the scene so that the work can be done without further contamination or residents are escorted out via a designated route. If someones murderded at the entrance to a block of flats do the residents not get out to their work the next day ??????

The report also says that Brooks underwent a 90 minute operation for 3 stab wounds to his left thigh and that at one stage his condition was considered as critical.

Draw your own conclusions. I must emphasize that we don't know if these statements are accurate but if I'm in Tenerife ,after undergoing surgery, I'd like to think the wife would visit me. Can't get out the apartment because it's cordoned off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will, but i think it's best you don't try yourself. leave conclusion-drawing to those of us with the capacity.

The article was in the Sports Section of the Daily Telegraph, which as you may know is a newspaper 'of record', meaning that it reports the facts as far as they are known without comment.

As I said before , draw your OWN conclusions.

BBC. They quoted Dominic Ingle as saying "I've been in touch with Lindsey this morning. Yesterday police were all over their apartment and she didn't have access to him. By the time she was allowed out of the apartment, visiting hours were closed," he said.

condition is/was unlikely or impossible to be critical unless your femoral artery had been severed. This may have been the case, I don't know.

Brook is a young fit man, his rehab should not be an issue. expect him to fight in March next year.

It could have been a whole lot worse.

So we are not to believe anything we read or hear in the media, but take the word of some internet random?

If you know something then either share it and enlighten us, otherwise we will base our opinions on what we have read/ heard.

I am sure you will come back with the usual "can't comment" rubbish which really means that you don't know any more than the rest of us but are trying to give the impression that you do.

Parsons genuinely knows his stuff. He's no internet randomer.

"Draw your own conclusions, just let me lead you to mine."

Is there any need for the amateur detective work? Why are you so desperate to jump to conclusions?

Could cause a lot of scarring on the muscle tissue if the wounds were deep, which could definitely affect his mobility.

Twerking isn't gay, Eddie. I have it on goid authority that Clint Eastwood and The Rock hold sunset twerking classes on the beach in Carmel.

Bripez - why have you stuck your oar in ? My questions were for Dalcumly.
Get a grip.
Where have I said I know anything ? Reason ? Because I don't.
I asked him which rag it was in and I've been given a reply. A simple question with no undertone.
I asked him what conclusions he had drawn from it. Why is that a problem for you ?
I'm an internet randomer ?
Sorry my friend I'm fast up the hill towards 60. What is one of those ?

So then he is in a position to either confirm or deny what is being reported (so why doesn't he then?) - alternatively he can choose to say nothing, however he did choose to comment on this thread.

I don't know why Parson, Micky1975 and Eric don't all just sit in a room together going nudge-nudge, wink-wink to each other without actually saying anything.

They can all then feel superior with each other.
