funny thing about predicting this one is that
no one has the slightest clue, but some will
feel utterly clever afterwards.

I like Stiverne he's a good boxer but i just cant see someone who's been KO'd being able to stand up to Wilder,he's got scary power,i know that sounds vague but its just simply the way i see it

I'm not trying to be difficult, but why exactly would Stiverne be scared?
because his opponent doesn't know he can lose.
confidence adds weight to any punch i suppose.

Wilder wants something he has, and Stiverne isn't giving him an opportunity for it.
I mean scared in the sense of the mental anguish of near certain defeat. Many fighters today cannot handle the notion of losing. if he wasn't scared the fight would have obviously occurred.

And while the opposition has been less than great, Wilder does have 30+ bouts under his belt. At least he has an inkling of what the pro game is about. Rademacher had none.
30 + fights and still has yet to go 5 rounds. Pretty paltry experience, and yes that's because his team have put him in with cracked china
What does "Stiverne's no Patterson" mean, Floyd, was a great fighter with many more skills than Stiverne.
Don't get shook up, HoagyLt. What you're saying is exactly what I meant. Stiverne's
no Patterson because Floyd was a terrific fighter while Stiverne is rather ordinary. He's only a champion because A) the title was vacated by Vitali (who would have poleaxed him) and B) the heavyweight division stinks.
BTW, hasn't the Stiverne-Wilder showdown been pretty much finalized for
Jan. 17 in Las Vegas?
I know that's not exactly the same as being signed, sealed and delivered, but it's about as close as you can get in boxing.
As you can see, the fight will not take place in Egypt. Shocking! The elderly King's days of globetrotting are long over. He was just blowing smoke.
That's Manila and Las Vegas 2, Egypt and Don King 0.

I don't agree with that last part of your statement, fights don't get made by fighters.....it's the Promoter's job and so far neither side has presented a contract for the other to sign.
No contractural negotiations have taken place between the two parties so there is no way we can say either man is ducking the other, if a negotiation had taken place like in the case of Floyd vs Manny and one fighter refused to sign the contract for whatever reason then that can be considered ducking.
Otherwise, neither fighter is afraid of the other regardless of who is undefeated.

Stiverne was the one who came up with the phony hurt hand excuse. At least by some accounts, he gained a lot of weight and certainly wasn't looking to fight anyone. Stiverne fights seldom and when he does, he usually doesn't do it very well. He was behind on points against Austin and I think had a recent draw or close fight with a .500 fighter. If he beats Wilder, then wilder is really bad.

He won't beat Wilder.
If Stiverne lays on the ropes against Wilder. like he did in the Arreola rematch, the Bronze Bomber will win in a flash.
Trying to recreate the rope-a-dope would only prove disasterous for him.
Deontay Wilder...

And he's saying its Stiverne and King that aren't willing to fight?
What the hell kind of sh!t is this? This is absoloutely retarded.
Btw... does this count as a "UBF title defense" since Wilder beat Zelenoff?

Helenius KO'd a soccer ball in one punch a few months ago. I think Wilder should have to go through him before he meets-up with Stiverne, who I assume is also the champion of fighting inanimate objects, in addition to being WBC champion.

Deontay Wilder will be challenging for Bermane Stiverne’s WBC World heavyweight title at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas on the 17th January… in an event that will be promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and televised by Showtime.
According to Wilder he has not even seen a contract yet alone signed one.
