All this talk of what an amazing guy Eddie is, but there's something about him that makes me want to slap him.

I mean, maybe he is this amazing, charity loving, super guy in private. But there's something about him that really grates me. Just a bit too Flash Harry for my liking.

I mean we don't know who DeGale and Stephen Smith are fighting, but the undercard thus far surely can't be costing stupid money. The lower weight 'World' title fights can't be that much. And as I mentioned earlier, Bellew and Cleverly are surely gonna be on way less than the likes of Froch, Kessler and Groves have been in the last few PPV cards. Not professing to be an expert on purses but it wouldn't make sense to me if that was the case anyway. But maybe I am wrong.

He said the same about the undercard for the first Froch Groves fight and that was dire.

Degale will be in aight a nick over and Stephen Smith I though the plan was to send him to Japan to fight Muira for the WBC belt

Can't believe all the negativity about the ppv

People just jumping on the band wagon half the time!

Eddie hasn't even announced half the card yet and everyone's moaning. At least hear the full card and then have a go,

It's simple if u don't want to pay for it then just don't order it. The undercard could b amazing for all we know at least give it a chance to b announced

I agree wholeheartely with your if you don't lke it, don't buy' POV but how could the undercard be amazing given who is on the left side of the card?

One person on that card has the potential to be a legitimate PPV fighter down the line, but not when he's fighting Sprott.

None of the others do.

Righthook is a mate of Boomers... Any fan knows this isn't PPV worthy. Neither are even world class. Nobody on the left hand side of the undercard will lose.

I know the old phrase if you dont like it dont buy it comes into Play
but for a fight like this you would expect to get it on your sky sports subscitption

What next " Sky decide to Pay per view Chelsea Vs Arsenal , or Man City vs Man Utd outwith your sky sports subrciption ? but if you dont like it dont buy it??

Its taking advantage of Boxing fans , these guys are in one of the shittest divisions in Boxing , there not even top guys in the divison and there both Under the same promotor,

I take it this is Skys Decison and Not Eddie Hearns???

Aye, you've nailed it Gaz. It's not about don't like it dont buy it in this case. I'm already 'buying' it by paying a healthy fvcking sub to Sky to see some quality boxing. However what I get is a pile of left hand of the card wins and Scott Quigg 'World' title fights. Now I'm expected to fork out extra for a fight between two guys who couldn't cut it at light heavy in a reasonably parallel way so as to justify a rematch that few outside of the Bellew camp were calling for in the first place.

This isn't about jumping on Bandwagons. The reason there is a 'bandwagon' is that this is such an obvious rip off that damn near everyone agrees - it's merely common sense to think this is out of order.

Hearn is now just rolling out the same old pish that comes with an exclusive contract with Sky. No amount of Ringside can build this up into a fight that really matters. Neither fighter is at world level at Cruiser, neither fighter will be after the fight, so why the fvck as a boxing fan should I have to pay extra beyond the extra I already pay to see what is little more than a evenly matched decent domestic fight, which will likely go down a very similar route to the first one unless Kovalev really has left Cleverly as damaged goods.

Rant over.

The fact that half the fights haven't been announced isn't an indicator that they'll be quality. If half the undercard features boxers fighting TBA, then people aren't going to want to spend their money ordering the show. (Unless the main event is massive, which it isn't.)

If there were 8 or 10 decent quality fights on the undercard, people wouldn't be moaning.

He's added a James DeGale vs TBA fight. It's not like you can just put matches of that caliber on in a sports hall or shopping mall, and give it away on free-to-air TV, y'know....

Its not as simple as don't like it don't buy it. Surely my paying £60 a month to sky is already buying it. I basically subscribe to skysports for football and boxing, when a big football match comes up I don't get an e-mail telling me it has been made box office and its and extra £20.

Agree. Bellew-Cleverly was a great fight first time around. It's going to be very competitive again.

If Quigg has a good opponent then we're half way there.

One thing is there has to be some element of risk for Eddie Hearn's stable. Some of the guys need to be in genuine fights...that means stepping up a level.

That is quite a coup, that TBA has boxed quite exclusively for Frank W@rren recently so to get him on Sky Box Office suggests something of a sea-change.

The first fight was free to air on allegedly, both were unbeaten, with a world title on the line. Since then both have been pasted in world title fights, done nothing noteworthy in their other fights, stuck 2 stone in weight on, now we have to pay £15 to watch the rematch, that there's no need for anyway. Massive head clash in the first round please, make sure everyone stupid enough to buy the PPV, wastes their money completely.

Spot on. This "if you don't like it, then don't buy it" line doesn't wash because folk have already fecking paid and what are they getting in return?

Wow...at least I can watch some fat blokes playing darts for my £60. Thanks Sky!
