Nobody here wants to see these guys, nobody cares about them. They're all interchangeable. No excitement, no charisma.
People, not just hardcore boxing fans, cared about the sport back in the 90s.
It will wither and eventually perish if the current hierarchy remains.
A Wilder victory is imperative Saturday if the sport is to survive.
the fact that people in the US are excited about Wilder, is part of the problem. In the 80's his equivalent was Tony Fullilangi

Very often, old fighters lose to younger, talented, ambitious boxers. A recent example of this was Inoue defeating Narvaez.
Wladimir is getting older and he's never been invincible. Jennings is a quick, athletic, physically fit, technically-skilled and ambitious young heavyweight with a 3" reach advantage over Klitschko.
I think Bryant Jennings is just reaching his prime in 2015 and he will upset Klitschko to become world heavyweight champion.
Look! A squadron of swine just flew past!

No chance, perhaps I could see him scraping a UD loss, but I think a late stoppage is more likely.

And who may this be? Travis Kauffman? LOL. If there was a top white American Heavyweight he'd be more popular than Jesus and Tom Brady put together.
You sound like someone who has never been West of Romania.

Jennings is a poundshop version of Kubrat Pulev. He's very easy to hit and his only chance of winning against Klitschko is if he is lucky enough to land the kind of punch Oliver McCall hit Lennox Lewis with in their first fight.
There's no way Klitschko would risk himself against a dangerous puncher or American judges in his first fight in the USA since 2008.

It is going to be another knockout win for Wladimir Klitschko as he starts his 2015 campaign in style against the unbeaten American contender Bryant Jennings who was meant to be the WBC mandatory of Bermaine Stiverne-Deontay Wilder.
The run shall continue and then Klitschko will fight Tyson Fury who is his WBO mandatory from breaking down Dereck Chisora in 10 rounds to reclaim the British Heavyweight title and take Chisora's European title in the process. Plus I don't think Deontay Wilder fill fight Wladimir this year as I think Al Haymon will want Wilder to make a few defences of the newly accquired WBC belt stateside before the match up with Klitschko.

What I don't know could fill up volumes. What I do know is that America would love to have a good caucasian HW and he would be supported immensely. To say he would have "No following" is ignorant to put it politely. Bash me back if you'd like, I'm ignorant myself in most areas, but not in HW boxing or in American sociology.

Wladimir Klitschko is at the junction in his career where he can look like the most dominant man on the planet one evening and five months later look like he's completely diminished. Not sure that Bryant Jennings will make him look the latter, but it should be interesting.

You may very well know all that and then some. My criticism was very specifically aimed at you writing an excellent white HW in America would have "No following." Your implication was that would be the case because he was white. As your countrymen would say that it "Rubbish." Perhaps you were kidding and just wanted to get a response. If that is the case you were successful.

You brought color into it. It has nothing to do with color but everything to do with chauvinism. The original meaning of "chauvinism" is exaggerated and aggressive patriotism. As an American, I confess we have too much of that. When I was in Europe, it was very easy to find US baseball scores in European newspapers. Try finding European football scores in an American paper!
It's not color because few Americans talk or care about Kell Brooks, Anthony Joshua, or even Lennox Lewis. We want Americans! The great white hope mania that gripped America in the 70s and 80s covered Quarry and Cooney, not Bugner or Chuvalo. I'm not defending America here; not by a longshot, just telling it the way it is. If Wilder was white, he'd be a bigger name in America.
The Pulves, Povetkins, Prices, Glazkovs, Charrs, Ustinovs, are all limited. None of those names will be a Klitschko or Lewis. The only European HW that I can think of that could be big in America is Tyson Fury. He is culturally Western and talks smack which we like. If Joshua ends up as great, he won't have a huge following here. I'll follow him cause I'm a boxing fan, but I'm in the minority. Most of my fellow Americans are into UFC, NFL, NBA and NASCAR which I loath.

Wonder what Americans would say if Joshua turned into this monster kayo machine putting everyone away in 1 or 2 rounds like one of those UFC monkeys?

I'd be into it. I think anyone who keeps putting everyone away in 1 or 2 rounds would get a lot of attention here and everywhere. I can't recall a Joshua interview, but his first language being English would be helpful here.

He's supposed to be doing that at this stage. He's fighting better guys than most at this level granted so he's ahead of where most are at, but those guys are still at this lower level.
Randomly I find all these nationalistic biases people have or automatically assume others have as

Anthony is clearly a good fighter with potential, but give the guy some time to develop & show what he's capable of before he's saddled with being the next big thing or future undisputed champion or hype job or future bum. He'll get there or he won't. Not that big a deal.
