Your Pat fought in this era (where Mimmy's tapes are from) and I remember watching him a couple of times on telly so I imagine he'd be on somewhere, have you got boxing news write ups on his bouts?

I had all his fights on tape and every BN but over the years I've lost them moving ,funny I just see his fight vs loris stecca on you tube worth a look decent fight , I remember it being a late notice fight for pat and he did OK against a world top 10 fighter.

I was reading a Boxing News journal from 1989, one of your Pat's bouts was in there, if you message me your address I'll send it you down tomorrow.

Mimmy, I've got some tapes in the loft - I've no video recorder, I'll send them to you if you like, after you've sorted your lot. I know there's some good stuff. They've been kept in a plastic box for years.

Thanks Mimmy, the tapes have been up there years so there's no rush. I'll have a gander at what's there and message you, if there's some stuff you've not put up I'll send it to you so you can work your magic. There'll be some stuff that's of interest to someone I'd have thought.

Your big brother was a good fighter, tough and crafty and in good shape, a good role model.

Cheers Simon , it's a shame he never had a promoter behind him and he was a bleeder half his loses come on cuts .
It was cool as a kid going to shows or to gyms as I meet all the big fighters of the the time like mcguigan and honeyghan
