Tony Thompson and Marius Wach seem to me ideal workouts that are needed immediately. Chris Arreola is a name, of sorts, but is a face-first, free-swinging blob who Joshua would decap pretty quickly. I expect Arreola will get the call.

Arreola has a good record but I think he would have more chance of remaining upright after a lorry has driven into him at 100mph than of lasting past two rounds with Joshua. The description of him above is spot on.

here is my take on it....

price.....pointless as he would fight shit scared and be stopped early
chisora...... again pointless, haye ruined chisora and del boy had nothing left in the fury 2 fight
wach... ideal opponent, durable but not too dangerous
browne......ideal opponent, hungry slugger but not the best boxer
whyte.....a more dangerous opponent than any of the above at present in my humble opinion. AJ..stay clear just for now
Bryant Jennings..... beaten by wlad but a good AJ opponent in about 8 months time
Ustinov.... not a bad shout at the moment, similar sort of opponent to wach
chambers......would get torn a new one against AJ, far too small

ocviously AJ needs to stay away from wlad, fury and haye for I guess another year.
