I like that descriptiondavie wrote:Ok. Joshua has done a slightly higher level of bugger all
Whyte's level of ambition will be judged on the night. Whyte hasn't shown much ambition with his matchmaking so far in his career.davie wrote:Ok. Joshua has done a slightly higher level of bugger all.
I'm one of the first to defend Joshuas rate of progression on here (because I don't think there's any need to rush him) but lets be honest, Joshua hasn't taken on anyone of note.
I'd back whyte to deal with Airich, Bahktov and Johnson.
Perhaps not as impressively as AJ did.
Whyte will be Joshuas best opponent, again he brings something new to the table in an unbeaten record, a bit of ambition and a rivalry.
You're playing a dangerous game disagreeing with this Horse bloke, he's giving Keithmoonhangover HELL on the last page for doing the same.davie wrote:Na.Horse wrote: There's a good chance that a few of Joshua's opponents could have beaten him.
It's a few words on a computer screen. Trust me mate, that's not hell.Fuzzy Warbles wrote: he's giving Keithmoonhangover HELL on the last page for doing the same.

I'm sobbing, but only because I can't find any decent midget porn to watch. Wine and tramadol to cushion the blow.davie wrote:We all know you're sitting at your laptop sobbing like a little girl.keithmoonhangover wrote:It's a few words on a computer screen. No, Whyte is a step down.davie wrote:Wrong
Are you being facetious again?Fuzzy Warbles wrote:I know I would be if an anthropomorphic HORSE was abusing me in such a fashiondavie wrote:We all know you're sitting at your laptop sobbing like a little girl.keithmoonhangover wrote:It's a few words on a computer screen. No, it doesn't but i still fancy Whyte to beat any of those guys at the point AJ faced th.Horse wrote:No, Whyte is a step down.davie wrote:Wrong
Johnson, Bakhtov & Sprott are all higher ranked by BoxRec and all have better records than Whyte.
Simply being unbeaten doesn't mean that a fighter is any good.
Yes ... sorrydavie wrote:Are you being facetious again?
He's fighting Irineu Beato Costa JuniorTarkus wrote:Whyte looks better then his shitty record so far but the question is how much better. I hope Eddie puts him with someone at least half alive prior to Joshua fight so that we get some idea about his level.
That's not bad actually, and he's coming here on a win.ProMayhem wrote:He's fighting Irineu Beato Costa Junior
This line of argument comes up a lot, and in reality it's probably accurate, but the former three are known quantities, while the latter isn't.Horse wrote:Johnson, Bakhtov & Sprott are all higher ranked by BoxRec and all have better records than Whyte.
Well, if big talk on an internet forum means nothing, then what are we all doing with our life?keithmoonhangover wrote: It's a few words on a computer screen. Trust me mate, that's not hell.
You also have to take into account where these guys are in their respective careers and how much they had left.Grilling Machine wrote:This line of argument comes up a lot, and in reality it's probably accurate, but the former three are known quantities, while the latter isn't.Horse wrote:Johnson, Bakhtov & Sprott are all higher ranked by BoxRec and all have better records than Whyte.
We've always seen more from the proven guys, but if we don't fancy them to bring ambition or have much of a chance of winning, I think it's more interesting to match against relative unknowns of good repute. Until some belts are on the table, like.
