WBA champion Denis Lebedev is planning a November title defence. No opponent named yet. But Beibut Shumenov just won the WBA eliminator against Flores and must be a chance.

WBA champion Denis Lebedev is planning a November title defence. No opponent named yet. But Beibut Shumenov just won the WBA eliminator against Flores and must be a chance.

He would KO Shumenov IMO. Shumenov would use movement and may nick some rounds but unlike Flores, Lebedev would eventually cut off the ring and hurt him badly. Flores wobbled him in the 12th though Salas is a good trainer so Shumenov might improve with more time under him. Lebedev is way better than Flores and Flores troubled Shumenov at times. Lebedev has a voluntary before he has to fight Shumenov I dare say Shumenov will want another fight at CW before taing on a fighter of Lebedev's calibre.
