Problem for me these days is that if I'm going to a UK fight I want to be close enough to the ring to ensure a better all round experience than watching on TV. That prices a lot of lads with a casual interest out straight away. My worst nightmare is being stuck miles away with a load of drunken football yobs who abuse anybody that doesn't join in with their "walking in a "insert home fighter here" wonderland" song or burns the ear off you all evening spitting and dribbling in your face whilst trying to pass on their p1ss poor knowledge.
Would love to do a meet up before a London fight some time.
My sentiments exactly mate. If I was going to the fight I would have been up for it James but unfortunately I'll be in Budapest on stag.
Defnitely up for a meet up in London

I have a solution for you.
You tell the missus that she has two choices: Either you og to Germany with the aim of releasing some built up tension, or she submits to anal on demand for a month.
No feather dustering and either way you come out in front

Then I'd need to listen to her moan that
her arse is like a Japanese flag though

It'd be rude not to. Me and a couple of mates are Flying in Thursday from Stansted for £13 and returning from Cologne Sunday night back to Stansted for £58. Loads of cheap hotels, not booked one yet though. The Mercure Is close and decent so I've been told and it's £125 for the 3 nights for a twin/double. Going to weigh in on Friday too. If anyone fancies a little glass of babycham etc let's have a meet up.

The weigh in for Klit-Haye was bizarre. It was in a sports shop. I was stood in the trainer section, couldn't see a thing, on a different floor...

They are an odd bunch the germans. Probably got nicely paid by the company mind.

I'm here
Hotel Minerva Garni
I'll find out the name of our hotel tomorrow. We are booked, it's on. 11 in one hotel, 19 in the other. Pretty cheap as well. And we fly into Eindhoven on Friday morning. Should be a good weekend, knowing my lot, it will be ridiculous...

Anyone spotted any cheap flights going from North East either the Thurs or Friday?

Cologne or Eindhoven are your best bets. We paid about £90 a piece. We are going to get hammered in Holland, Germany and York in 3 days. We are off for the hatrick.

Return from Heathrow with British airways cost me £180
2 nights in the Hilton with breakfast cost me £80
And I've got a £32 fight ticket, I know I'm up in the gods but I paid £150 for the haye fight in Hamburg and was sitting next to people who paid £60 so thought I'd just go cheap for the atmosphere

I think we paid about €60. To be honest, in stadium fight, if you're not laying out big money, then it doesn't really matter where you are sat.

Why are hotels in Germany so cheap? You wouldn't believe the prices in York! I know York is the greatest city in the world, but still... You'd be lucky to get into our youth hostel for £40 a night, and you certainly wouldn't get a breakfast. Then again, you can get a b&b in Bridlington for £13! With a full English...

There's shit loads of them, because it's a big commercial zone, lots of businessmen fly in and out all the time - lot's of competing hotels = lower prices.
Germany generally seems to be much cheaper than the UK anyway, booze, food, accommodation, even the brasses are cheaper; apparently.

There's loads of people here, too. Massive tourist industry, I thought that just drives prices up. You really couldn't get a room here for that. I love the German food, and brasses... Three more booked on this morning, it's going to be emotional.

There's not a massive surplus of hotel rooms in London, and most hotels are aimed at the luxury end of the market. London has on average apparently (this was a while ago, so may have changed), the most expensive hotel rooms in the world.
The hotels in Dusseldorf are mainly for European business travellers, not tourists. It's a business city.
I love Germany, think it's great, been over to Berlin twice and Munich once, looking forward to going again.

I suppose that's why it's cheap at weekends. It's the opposite here. I've been into the City of London on a weekend and all the pubs were shut. Proper ghost town. Totally different through the week.

I bumped into Tyson's father in law this morning and he's going with his sons - he was saying how the price of the airline seats and hotels had shot up over that weekend. Jimmy is a top man, very decent and polite.

Is this really the big fight everybody is making out that it is?
1) Klitschko is rarely in entertaining fights
2) Everybody already knows who is going to win
