Same here. I imagine they're announcing Canelo vs Cotto, which will be brilliant.

Chaves vs Brook is a good fight. Okay it's not Thurman, Khan or Bradley but to me this is an acceptable level voluntary defence and it will comfortably be the 2nd best win on Kell's resume to date. Chaves isn't likely to win, but he has given some of the top guys in the division a tough nights work so he is an excellent yardstick for Kell at world level. anybody in the top 15 will add depth to Brook's resume right now, and he needs all the quickfire people he can around that area prior to fights with Thurman, Khan or Bradley so that he is truly ready when he steps it up to top, top level.

Bizier is a smart fight to take after this as it clearns his mandatory obligations for the whole of next year, hopefully he can get it out the way as early as possible, leaving one more fight at a Alexander, Guerrero, Maidana level before hopefully a nice summer fight with one of the 3 previously mentioned.

If Fast Car can get the next 2 defences on mainstream sky, and Kell makes them exciting wins (good fights or great KO's) he should be in a much better place when it comes to headlining PPV's.

I appreciate why people are disapointed, but i genuinely believe Hearn will eventually take the financial/professional risk come summertime next year as he did with Froch/Bute. It will eventually be the only way they can both earn mega bucks.

For me, I'd like to see Brook stay active and beat up on Brandon Rios. Would be another good win for his record and a further step in his education at the elite level.

I just meant that some people on this thread were suggesting Klit vs Fury was on WarrenNation.

Looking at the Top 10-15 based on Boxrec ratings at WW this is what I think......

1 - Floyd - Fighting Berto who is rated 21st in the list.
2 - Manny - Fight would have to be in Macao or Vegas and Kell would have to travel
4 - Thurman - May come to UK for HUGE money so would think Kell would have to travel stateside for this and would be a great figt 50/50.
5 - Maidana - May come to UK for HUGE money so would think Kell would have to travel stateside for this and win's
6 - Khan - Openly wants the fight but timing for this you would think summer 2016 this happens.
7 - Shawn Porter - Beaten
8 - Bradley - May come to UK for HUGE money so would think Kell would have to travel stateside for this but rumors he fighting Rios who IMO is a bigger name but on par with Chaves. Would love the fight to be made.
9 - Danny Garcia - Don't think he would travel and would be the A side in the US good fight 50/50.
10 - Rios - Not sure what happened but think priced himself out and maybe fighting Bradley.
11 - Chaves - Fighting - been in with decent named opponents and can punch. Stop's him mid - late.
12 - Alexander - Would travel and I think the styles would not gel but Kell win's too big and strong at the weight.


Basically has to go to America for the bigger of the names on the list or take less money for them to come to the UK.

..... and Mr Hearn needs to put more in the pot BigB to get the names over here.

I like he fight. I think Chaves is good.

But Hearn is trying to build Kells name here, this fight doesn't do it. And Chaves is too good for that.

I like the Chaves fight,its Brook's best fight since Porter,fights against Bradley or Thurman would've been great and we cant blame Brook for the Khan fight not happening now so this will do for now

Chaves has a great style and ive never seen him in a dull fight,he shouldve lost to Bradley but he threw the Rios fight away with stupidity,he stood up to some heavy shots to Thurman before the end came,styles wise i think it makes for a fun fight,Diego's gonna be in Kell's face all night and for lesser men that plays into Brook's hands but if Chaves can take some early shots and keep coming then it could become a tough night for Kell,Porter gave Brook some problems fighting rough and the first Jones fight was a while ago but again its that relentless pressure,Dan and Gavin werent able to tough out past the midway stage but Chaves should

In saying all that i still think Brook can stop him,Kell's a far better boxer so should pick up the early rounds but Chaves might come into it by the mid rounds but i expect Brook to turn up the heat and force the ref to step in
