Shut out through 7. Brunker looks fornicating useless...Warrington looks talented but couldn't break an egg...

scores are irrelevant - JW winning every round.
Brunker at his limit making it competitive, JW in cruise control.

Thanks gents. It's Fathers day today (Sunday) in Oz, so I thought Joel might give his dad a nice pressy. I guess not.

Corner should pull Brunker out here, he's miles behind, has no plan B and is taking far too many punches, not worth going on.

Doesn't help that Brunker is as basic as you can get, he's a tough bastard and that's about it, he could have fought Isaac Lowe earlier tonight and the fight wouldn't have been any different to how this one's going.
That's a fair assumption. It's highly tedious to be honest.

Agreed, very poor on the whole. 2015 has been one of the worst years I can remember for domestic Sky cards, total shambles.

Not an enjoyable fight to watch,Brunker's just too slow, basic and predictable to make a fist of it although he's got a massive pair, i dont want to sound critical of Warrington coz he just shut out a guy who some tipped to win but i do wonder how his lack of power will tell up a level, its not as if hes a pure boxer who can rely on his skills to make up for it and even though none of the champs are monster punchers, they are pure boxers

Can Sky please stop making out Joel Brunker is a proven WC gatekeeper ?!
He's game as f*ck, but weak and limited.
His only result outside Oz is an 8 round dec. over the ghost of Mike Oliver.

Why do we produce so many feather fisted boxers? We don't have any punchers bar 1 or 2 right now.

That was a really poor night of boxing, piss poor lineup and Fast Eddie just milking the fact that Warrington can pull a Leeds crowd. You'd think he might use that fact to actually put on at least one or two decent undercard scraps though. That was junk after junk. Hate boxing on Sky now, really poor, this is what happens when you give all the shows to one promoter without any competition.

Got to agree that the card last night was total garbage. It was like, ooo, the next one will be a good one... and then it wasn't. Lowe vs Speight was the highlight.
Josh put on a good performance for the level he's at but it wasn't a main event on Sky, and his lack of power will get him in big trouble soon enough.
On Nick Halling, please, Sky ship him over to some American sport on in the early hours, totally ruins cards with his constant dribble!
Really wringing out the dish cloth last night from Matchroom.

I guess SKY will have Fury on every week now pimping the PPV but a very lacklustre nights boxing to kick off the new season, dare say next weeks won't be that much better with Joshua long odds on favourite to win.
At least we have an extra card on tonight, back to the good old days of boxing on a Sunday night, Benn v Watson & Benn v Eubank

Both English title fights were superb last night, yet again a matchroom show's big names have their thunder stole from domestic dust ups
Its no coincidence Eddie...piss off with all the Argentines and Latvians and give us back British and Commonwealth title fights with Area and English title fights on the undercard,Mouniemne gave Warrington a much tougher fight than Brunker
No disrespect to journeymen,i have massive respect for anyone who boxes but with each passing season,i see no use for them or anyone who has no intention of winning,i know its about guys learning and opponents making a living but its getting to the point where boxing owes them a living
i know boxings about moving up in levels but maybe if you cant win fights you shouldnt be allowed to box however tough, durable and awkward you are, some of the away fighters who box on some of the shows up here in Scotland are terrible and teach nobody anything

Credit to Brunker for having the balls to step up and test himself against a guy who proved to be clearly better than him. No shame in losing to a better man.
