He was happy to let the fight to continue at that point, the knockdown caused a break in the fight so he should have taken Boschiero to the corner and had it put back in. Probably wouldn't have affected the result, but it was poor refereeing and you can guarantee if it was Smith in the same position the gumshield would have been put back in.

Class finish not as good a performance as Halling and Watt claimed as it was very scrappy.

What are his chances against Pedraza ?

Excellent performance from Smith,i tipped Boschiero for the KO but am not surprised Stephen looked devastating because i know i has it in his locker,i just felt he had a vulnrebality about him that Boschiero would expose but apart from taking a big right at the start of the last round and a few shots elsewhere it was an A+ performance,terrific right hand counter to deck him in the 2nd and the follow up left hook KD was more a product from the 1st but the 2 bodyshots were sickeners to finish him off,really pleased for him

Great win and bring on Pedraza or Cherry

any one know who, jamie moore is training now. was in macklin and tommy coyle corner. but is he back now after his injury

Slim. Pedraza is a bit like Crawford in many ways, not quite as versatile switched but creates and maintains space, moves well, very sharp, big strong guy. Pedraza might not be well known but he has all the boxes ticked, except for killer instinct.

Zelfa Barrett looked pretty good there

First time id seen Zelfa Barrett i was impressed,massive respect for Kristain Laight though,200+ fights

I know his scheduled opponent failed a medical...but what's the real excuse for Burton being moved THIS slowly? Looks talented, lots of promise but his career has been a case of beating very limited opposition

Id love to see Burton in with Ajisafe for the Britsh and Commonwealth,he needs a step up and we need to see how his lack of power will tell at a higher level,he's alright though

Just caught up with tonight's card, quite enjoyed it actually. Saunders looked like crap and a bully to boot, and Buckland looks shot unfortunately, but full credit to their opponents.

Is that right i cant remember that,its probably a fight Ajisafe would rather avoid before he moves on to European or International/Inter continental level,Burton for all his lack of power is still a good fighter and capable foe
