The other two judges had him 4 points ahead, if he lasted the distance he would have got the SD win.
I might be wrong but I thought I heard two judges had him 1 up and one judge had him 4 up.
Regardless of what anyone argues the scores were, Terry O'Connor did not know what the scores were so can't just stop fights based off of that. I absolutely agree with the guy who said about living to fight another day, but if you give the 8 count you can make your judgement on whether you think the guy is in danger of getting hurt. Terry just waved the damn thing off.

That's why Frampton rejected 60-40 to the winner against Quigg in Manchester, fvck fighting on a SKY/Matchroom card as an away fighter when sh1t like this happens.

Cardle was winning on one card
Yes, misheard them, that judge needs looking at too, there's no way Cardle was winning that fight.

Surely if the beaten fighter doesn't protest than its the correct decision. Dodd seemed relieved to be stopped the way he tapped the ref straight away.

Great fight. Heart goes out to Dodd not getting a count. He seemed fine pretty quickly afterwards.

O'Connor did his job well. Brown envelope from Eddie later. If it's other way round it aint getting stopped and that's the end of the argument really.

I thought TOC was going to stop him on his feet just before the knockdown so when the knockdown came he had pretty much already made up his mind. The fight itself was like Gatti-Ward but of a much lower quality and with most punches missing.

Is anyone flicking over to the MGM card ? An absolute car crash of mismatches for the most part.

Watched the first part of it, Tims-Sweeney was a good fight, shame Sweeney broke his hand, rest of it was as expected, McDonagh-Byrne up next which should be a cracker, might not be a lot of quality on show but I can't see either taking a backward step. Clashes with the Burns fight though so I'll watch that later.

Get a grip lads. No conspiracy theories here. Fighter was out on his feet and just trying to get away. I've seen far worse stoppages.

He did a great job with Flanagan-Magdaleno last month, gave Magdaleno every chance to recover and stopped it at the right time, maybe even a bit late. Normal service resumed tonight though.

He was about to step in just before the knockdown. Dodd had nothing left. It was a close fight so I can see why people are upset but the fighter himself didn't have too many complaints.

I agree - No conspiracy.
We've all seen worse and the ref has a tough spil-second call, BUT the Cleverly point is still a good one.
Could be he learned his lesson from Clev fight ?
Or it could be that he gave one guy FAR too long to come back and another MUCH less @ random.
Or it could be that he's favouring house fighters.
As soneone said he DID do a good job with Magdeleno.
I've no idea which of the above, maybe a bit of all 3 ?

Ricky Burns looks shot. Reminds me of Hatton towards the end. Timing not there it's all just forced. Not been the same fighter since his jaw went.
