Maybe he is happy with the outcome and that was what was read out in court. I've had it myself. You just let them say their piece.

I read the report and the first couple pages of the thread and was lining up a comment condemning him, but then saw his reply and got to say that I am actually impressed that he came here and made a comment. His version does not explain what did happen but it does not sound as bad as the court and paper made it sound, but then it hardly ever is.

We all been daft at times, sh1t happens and most of us learn from it and I hope Frankie does.

Good on Frankie for coming on here and giving his side of the story. Papers are not to be trusted.

The vast majority if not everyone on here would help their mate out if they were in the same situation. Not saying what happened is right or wrong but sometimes when you're out trouble is unavoidable. Some folk end up biting off more than they can chew then cry to the authorities when they end up with a sore coupon!

I'm not judging him, I've done just as bad myself.

The press usually sensationalise stories like this and Frankie will naturally soften his side of the story. The truth will probably lie somewhere in the middle.

I found myself in situations in my youth where it ended up in violence but as you grow older you sense the situation is coming to a head and walk away. Hopefully this is a lesson learnt and he walks away if there is a similar situation in the future.

Listen, we have all done stupid stuff in life that we'd rather forget about and this looks like a pretty prime example.

Fair play to Frankie for coming on and putting his version out there. He didn't have to do that.

Hopefully it never happens again. Now, about that shell suit......

I was in a similar situation myself a few years ago. The shame and embarrassment it caused for me, my parents and my son was a far worse punishment and prison.

I was young, reckless and a bit stupid and foolish and looking back on it now,I know I'd never get in that position again.

I learned from it, but I didn't really appreciate how stupid I'd been until I had admitted it to myself.

I'd got mine from sportsdirect. I wore them. A lot. They were comfy and went well with my lonsdale velcro trainers.

Admit it Frankie. You'll feel better. People will appreciate your honesty.

Fair enough - can you confirm whether at the time of the alleged incident you were wearing the aforementioned three quarter length trackie bottoms and/or a North Face jacket (in black)?

North Face is relatively expensive, you don't find it in Sp#r#s Di#e#t, Karrimor more like.

Can't disagree with you if you you'd have done what the paper said should be doing jail and know how the papers etc spin things so fair enough.

Its funny how the Birmingham Mail ignore boxing most the time but something like this its main story.
