I am nobody's puppet, I say what I think, I don't kiss someone arse cause there on the tv, Tyson furys bare arse in the shower quote is where it's at, call a spade a spade, I basically question this whole board on thinking there is no corruption it's hilarious, kris laight, an element of corruption there he knows if he wins he won't get another fight so hands are tied and he cruises through fights even though he could easily won them, not his fault it's down to politics, there's loads of different elements. I just don't sugar coat it and pretend what a great sport it is when money generated is more important than talent, not many other sports have that issue,

Haha quality posts on this page. Now we have "Howard Foster" posting on a forum. For a so called A star referee to post on a boxing forum like that is crazy. I don't rate Foster as a referee he is very very inconsistent but it is a hard job to do. Someone further up has commented on no corruption in boxing then used Ronnie as an example of bitterness. So Draw and 2 defeats with Howard Foster being the ref. Maxi Hughes draw everyone knows Ronnie won that fight a Doncaster ref with a Doncaster boxer. That was a home town decision. Troy James Howard was OK in that fight Ronnie on the wrong end of a close decision due to judges it was a split no complaints our end. Cacacae I think was a bad reffing would it of changed anything we will never know but he allowed a lot of spoiling. Another close fight until the stoppage no bitterness. I'm very proud of Ronnie he could of just fought bums like most other fighters who don't fight each other. Boxing is corrupt because referee's are booked and can be asked for. A referee will know if he decides against a home fighter the chance is he won't ref there again. it is really that simple. If the Luke Campbell fight was a ref scoring can you really say he would not of got the decision.

I think no refs should be booked and should be on a fair allocation system.. I think that would help with some decisions. The board should do this for the money they get. Refs would then be guaranteed the work and not be under pressure when making a decision. They should also get reviewed independently. Small steps makes the sport more fair

No referee can be BOOKED in any area !!!! Bloody hell get your facts right before you comment. All area councils have their own referees which they use to safe promoters expenses claims. No more from me but you really should "Shut up and Sit down" hahaha

This
Certain levels of fights require an A star. There are 10 nationwide to undertake all of the judging and scoring in british titles, eliminators (and final elims) and commonwealth. Therefore an A star may be drafted in.
Area titles require an A. Each area has just about enough A refs to manage. If there are multiple shows on in an area then an A may be drafted in from another area.
Anything else, 8 rounds or under can be done by a B. The same goes regarding multiple shows.
There is no 'booking' of refs in any area.
Maybe what you are confused about is when world sanctioning bodies reject a ref.
Howard Foster is a great ref. He did an amazing job on Saturday and it amazes me how bitter and unaware of how boxing works some people are on this forum.

Jamie, if you are none of these exactly what provides you with the knowledge you claim to have? (Other than someone told you something)

That's bull because I know for a fact on booking a show in Dundee a certain ref was asked for and was given. It's also been said by some big promoters that there is certain refs they will and will not work with. Sport is all about money and greed that's why it's so corrupt. Refs like I said should be allocated and the promoters given no choice. I spoke to a ref after a fight where I felt he gave a slightly safe decision. His exact words were "With that decision everyone wins. No one loses there 0. The crowds not going to crazy and I will get to referee here again". Fact is he has not ref'd one of those shows since. He is one of the better refs. I don't blame them it's their job and lively hood. There is a simple solution but it won't happen because as I've said it's a business first sport second

I've just seen it was Kenny Pringle.
So you are saying that Kenny Pringle told you personally that he fixed a result?

So its another bit of gossip that ''someone'' told you? Mate, I was told that a fat bloke with a beard and sleigh delivers presents to children all over the world. Turns out it was bull shit.
Here you are casting aspersions on Kenny Pringle off the back of gossip. You need to be careful because the stuff you are saying is serious and has repercussions.
In future, unless you actually know something as a fact you shouldnt broadcast it about.
