That video is all bunce when he stops talking about boxing
Wow! As sensitive as a shark in the midst of a feeding frenzy!! I think it's as much a poor choice of words as anything else, but good grief, how to come across badly.handsofstone wrote:Ouch
Is it because Spinks was stripped of the WBC for refusing to defend against Norton when he gave Ali the rematch, splitting the title in half??Cholo_cws wrote:I listened to Bunce on Talksport a couple of weeks ago. With a couple of seemingly non-boxing fan presenters he was certainly in his element. When asked who was the last undisputed heavyweight world champion was he said it was Muhammad Ali but then changed it to Leon Spinks. Can you work out his strange way of thinking? I think I can, which if so he cocked up anyway.
Yup, Tyson was undisputed. I guess Bunce puts a lot of stock in Francesco Damiani beating Johnny DuPlooy for the WBO title in 1989 (even though Tyson was the only champ when the WBO came along.)handsofstone wrote:Is it because Spinks was stripped of the WBC for refusing to defend against Norton when he gave Ali the rematch, splitting the title in half??Cholo_cws wrote:I listened to Bunce on Talksport a couple of weeks ago. Wasnt Tyson technically undisputed?? When did the WBO title become a major title
Well I guess if you include every alphabet org in the world there hasn't been any kind of undisputed champ for 60 years.Cholo_cws wrote:Yup, Tyson was undisputed. To carry on my nitpicking Bunce also said ex-heavyweight champion Tommy Burns was 5 ft 6in. I don't think I've ever seen Burns listed as anything other than 5 ft 7.
They already have one. He's called Roger Melliedookus wrote:Viz needs to base a character on him
Cross him with Cockney Wanker and you're getting quite close to Buncereggaereggae wrote:They already have one. He's called Roger Melliedookus wrote:Viz needs to base a character on him

Bang on. No one else had any claim to the title before that date. Tyson beat all alphabet champions plus Spinks who had a lineal claim.Cholo_cws wrote:

Add that to the fact the is an absolute gentleman.
I'm quick to slag people off at times but Buncey is a goddun in my book!
Hahahhaha Perfect. Bunce is a self promoting bell end. And that's itmilpool wrote:...and throw in a bit of Terry Fuckwitt.dookus wrote:Cross him with Cockney Wanker and you're getting quite close to Buncereggaereggae wrote:

I was hoping your biro story was true but such is your dislike of Buncey it was obviously made up.reggaereggae wrote:

Agree he loves the sport, he really does. But I lost a bit of respect for him the way he acted on twitter when he ripped into Ben jacobs on twitter over nothing. Really poor form.
It is true.. Ask him. I didn't dislike him until he started getting a lot or airtime. Before I thought he was a personalityCaptainSpacerod wrote:I was hoping your biro story was true but such is your dislike of Buncey it was obviously made up.reggaereggae wrote:
