Apparently, tickets are on sale tomorrow. If they don't name the opponent at that point then that's pretty shoddy.

He sold 16,000 tickets fighting Mark De Mori so don't think naming the opponent will make any difference

May seems a bit far out, considering he lasted less than a round this time. Surely he could box again in early March at the latest?

Still, hopefully this will be on Dave. :OhYes:

He's the attraction, it'll be a sell out no matter who the opponent is.

Might be a case of the O2 not being available...

If they're selling tickets without a name it tells me the name he is fighting is worthless.

Lining up another tomata can it seems.

Is it just me or are we in an era of drastically more bum fights and mismatches than ever before? It's getting ridiculous.

This opponet will be some one we know. Not saying it will be a big name, possibly Danny Williams, he's the bloke who beat Mike Tyson remember.

If David Haye selects Danny Williams as an opponent, he should be forced to re-retire for 3.5 years! :witzend:

Williams is more washed up than his favourite knife & fork & would last no longer than the hapless De Mori.

We're in an age where people idolise a celebrity that is famous for sex tapes rather than those who achieve.

In boxing, people want to be seen at a Haye fight rather than watch a competitive fight.

The world is fucked

im telling ya, the bloke who beat mike tyson and david haye beat the bloke who beat mike tyson. Surely his world ranking has to go to number 2 then. I mean if you beat mike tyson you are guarenteed celebrity status and riches beyond your wildest dreams.

I don't know who he should face next, but I doubt he faces any of the names in the Poll. It'll be a safer touch than that.

This is bollocks. Just going to see a night of boxing can be fun but no undercard, no named opponent... What a pisstake. I'd really like to like him again but this is some real crap he's pulling.

Just looking at the top ten rankings for the alphabets. Andrey Fedosov seems to fit the bill. Ranked by WBA and WBO, got a 74% KO ratio so he can be built as a "puncher" and he's 6'1" so just the right sort of undersized heavyweight Haye likes to bash about.

Might do, but I'm trying to go to the Fury-Klitschko rematch as well. Both depend on getting time off work.

Teper or Ustinov would be good fights and show Haye is planning on moving up the ladder quick.

TBC is probably a better opponent than De Mori!

Why does he need over 5 months between fights.
I thought he wanted to be active and get back in the mix.
He never got hit and barely got warmed up he could fight again tomorrow.
2-3 months tops should be all he needs to set up another show. If folk turn out for De Mori he'll get bums in seats for any decent opponent.
