A payday fight
Wouldn't be because Haumono has a WBA ranking that will lift Parker up the rankings ?

Best you ask Rhino that. It was his opinion you are quoting.

U.S. heavyweight BJ Flores put his hand up to come to Oz to take Haumonos ranking, There's more interest in his ranking than his financial appeal

Sol's seems to be in the position to negotiate a decent purse, imo he's left his run too late,41 this year and thinks a real title shot is within reach, come on....I'm not basing my opinion on what ifs, just facts.....Good luck to him btw...

Sol had a few problems and turned his life around ,, for that big bouquets , lots of applause , a few cheers of encouragment , and a big pat on the back , for having the guts , motivation , and desire to come out on top ,, A lot try and a lot fail Sol should be seen has a spokesman and a role model for younger ice and drug addicts .
But he should'nt be in with Parker , he's not fought for a while , had obvious problems , and really is not going to be in condition to stand a chance against a young fella like Parker .. It really comes down to should this fight be sanctined or is it to big a risk ,, Its a payday alright and would be nice to see Sol earn a good quid , but relisticly its just another , hand picked win with a ex name , like the Green --Briggs fight
And at heavy weight with them big boys , for my mind its too risky a accident waiting to happen , unless of course Parker takes it easy and pulls his punches short , in which case they should'nt be fighting each other
With saying that hope i'm wrong .

The pub is always the best option for PPVs. You get some crowd atmosphere and the $50 saved pays for a meal and few beers.

Solomon Haumono says he will have to win by KO :
http://www.aus-boxing.com/2016/07/14/so ... -all-odds/
“I don’t want it to go to the cards at all. I don’t like my chances if it goes to the cards so it has to be a knockout to win” - Solomon Haumono.
“I don’t see any chance like this coming up again and I’ve been working toward this chance right from the beginning,” Haumono explained. “The opportunity has come now and it’s about making the most of it,”
“I’m just thankful to be in this position, I’m thankful the country is behind me and I’m just looking to make the most of the opportunity on the night and doing boxing in Australia proud,” he concluded.

This reminds me why I LOVE this sport............What other sport give opportunity's to the under-dog like Boxing I know some other sport's do to but none are quite like BOXING lIKE ''Smokin'' Joe Frazier once said King's and Queen's watch Boxing and it puts a lot of bread in a lot of people's pocket's.

Joseph Parker is ranked #1 with both the IBF and WBO. A surprise loss to Solomon Haumono would sure change that.

Lucky I didn't buy that stupid fight. $40?? That's $10 a round. How much was it in Australia?
