Winning a WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO world title, even if just a 'regular' version, is still something that most boxers can only dream about and he would hardly be out of line saying he's a (vs 'the') world champion.
My thoughts exactly. :TU:

He should take that fight. I think Oquendo is his mandatory for now, but if he gets by him he should fight someone like Briggs. Browne would beat Briggs I figure, and it would give him a title defense allow him to make some more coin off of his title.

Of course if the opportunity to fight Fury comes along I'm positive he'll jump on that instead.

I expect the fight with Oquendo would be close, but Browne would edge it. Oquendo tends to always do just enough to lose.
And if Browne stopped Briggs, as he did with Welliver, then he has achieved something that a Klitshco couldn't.
I agree Daz and i think he would stop him....

Gil with all the bs Briggs did to try and lure out Wlad.... i just had a mental image of Briggs chasing Browne around Western Sydney trying to pull off similar stunts lol... i agree though.... i think it would be a good pay day, if he doesnt land a bigger opponent first...

Let's have 3 WBA champions, eff it let's have 2 WBO champs as well. If Lucas Browne is a heavyweight champion of the world so am I...... What a crock of poo.
Run along, Sonny. Go tell your Mummy she wants you. How much did you have on Chagaev?
Not a cent, but if I did I'd want it back. If he's found guilty he should be thrown out of the sport, and his plastic WBA title given back. Nothing worse than a cheat. Now run along sonny.... I think your mummy needs a word.

In your many, many decades on earth you have failed to learn as much as most people have, you clearly have either led s very sheltered life or you are slow, either way you have failed to learn, you are closer to the end than the beginning, I believe you have failed at life. Good on you.

That is actually quite difficult to read, too many you's.
Almost child like, anyway I really don't understand how I've failed at life because first up, I think Browne won a third rate (at best) heavyweight title and not only that he cheated in doing so. Not many (if any) boxers have a positive A sample and a negative B sample. You come across as a bit of bully really, pathetic.

At best this is going to be a long drawn out process. The last possible thing a newly crowned 35 year old champ needs.
