This is all very confusing, Fury is clearly the #1 ranked heavyweight. Why does that mean you can't pick against him? Joshua is untested at the highest pro level. Why does that mean you can't see for yourself that he's excessively talented and a terrible match up stylistically for Fury?

If you wanted technical reasons why Fury is so open. I'll give you a real glaring one, that off balance jab to body he literally puts his chin up on a tee. Anybody but Wlad would capitalize on that, Whyte sure would. I wish they were fighting next. I'm emptying my account on Joshua.

My friend, we are hitting pay dirt bigtime whenever these two get it on. Free money. The books will have it as close as opinion on Boxrec.

I think Joshua beats Fury- my reasoning being that whilst Klitschko is a very good fighter (even though he's despised by some) he is very passive and very defensively minded and scared of being hit back and thus is constantly looking for that perfect opening without taking anything heavy back himself. I disagree with the lumbering statue comment of Riddicks though. I think Klitschko has better and quicker footwork than Joshua.....

That said, Joshua would be more willing to take a few of Fury's punches (let's be honest he's not the biggest puncher in the heavyweight division by a fair stretch) to land his own big shots. He'd take more risks basically and Fury might make it awkward for 3 or 4 rounds but eventually Joshua is going to land with something big and Tysons gonna end up on his back and subsequently finished.

My personal take on it.

The concept of Joshua being frustrated by Fury is just hilarious. It's clearly come from the notion that Fury is a dab hand at bobbing and weaving and flummoxing a man whose sole consideration in life seemed to be taking up a new career as a Covent Garden street mime. How this translates to bamboozling a man who is throwing a lot of hard punches at him is anyone's guess. It's going to be interesting to hear after the event from these people on where Fury's supposed skills went in this instance.

Yes, I tend to agree. Joshua's not going to be standing there like a goon, he'll be throwing shots, and backing Tyson up.

I think the Klitschko win has flattered Fury big time, just because he beat Wlad, doesn't make him a defensive genius.

I'm not a fan of Fury by any stretch but you're certainly underrating him. He's 6'9 and has a mammoth 85" inch reach and he's developed a very awkward style over the course of his career that looks clumsy, but uses his height and reach to excellent effect. Wlad, Chisora 2 and Kevin Johnstone had real trouble closing the distance on Fury in what you have to rank as being his 3 most disciplined performances. KJ & Wlad didn't adjust to do anything about it, Chisora tried coming forward and got his face mashed.

It's all guess work anyway at this stage, I think Wlad regains his titles against Fury in the rematch. I think Joshua will get KO'd by some else in the mean time if Shitebag Hearn takes a decent fight.

I'll have a smaller bet on the KO, Fury does have a lot of heart. My greatest bet ever was $1,000 on Manny over DLH straight, $500 on Manny by KO and $25 each on KO in rounds 8-11. My ass was puckered like I was in jail watching that 7th round.
