Ok Im having another go at this. It's really tough though - so many close to call.

Right - I'm actualyl going Wills to beat Frazier - It's crazy but I I think Wills has the pure boxing ability to get a decision - Wills Pts15
Ward vs Ezzard - I'm going Charles - hes the greatest lt heavy ever and Ward still hard to rank Charles Pts15
Monzon would beat Walker I reckon - on pts again
Whittaker would outpoint zivic no problem

So its 2-2 going into the Williams vs Ortiz match. I could easily score this a draw - could see either man winning but I'm going for the chilling power of Ike to tip the scales in his favour - another decision.

For the me the Willy Wonkers are the champs!!!!

Just one question: would the results have been different if the Z-TRAIN had
Tony Canzoneri fighting for them at Lightweight instead of Carlos Ortiz?

I'm personally questioning the decision to allow fighter whose name doesn't START with Z

I thought dispensation was only given for X's.
I reckon you should have been made to scour the rankings, as I did for U.

Then the final result would have been an undiputed win for the W's

To be honest Cfang wasn't unbiased, he chose the team name and agreed with the selection of 4 of 5 of my picks for W.
Technically he should have been exempt from scoring too.

I mean Tommy hearns over Carlos Hernandez being denied ended all credibility.

It doesn't matter now but the Z team shouldn't have been allowed to have Monzon and Frazier anyway - X was allowed the leeway as you really couldn't make a team with that letter without anything other than obscure Spaniards. You can make a team with Z that's better than E, I, U or V at least with Tony Zale, Fritzie Zivic and Orlando Zulueta plus two also-rans.
