pretty much the same rules. boxer became better mostly over time, but rules stayed the same.

what has to be taken into account when comparing atg of all eras is training methods. how would prime young foreman of the 60 be, if he had training methods from 2000+, nutritions, work out system, training coach etc....

Yeah I misused rules. I should have said training and diet.

Their diets are much worse now. Most of them starve to make weight.

Same day weigh ins would fix this problem.
Half of the condenders today would be one or two weight divisions higher.
