Look... I'm an American. I hate corruption as much as anybody. But I'm not going to assume Russians are corrupt without any proof. We have massive evidence of the WBC's corruption.. The main force behind VADA's creation was Victor Conte. He's an ex-con PED pusher who was sent to prison for the distribution of steroids and other PED's. He assured his athlete's that they would never test positive and a lot of them did. He told them what they were taking is perfectly legal yada, yada, yada.. He's a very charming and charismatic guy who loves to sound like an expert and he's full of crap. He's a salesman and not a tech. But he's at it again which is no surprise. The latest hogwash he's put out on Meldonium is “I have no doubt it’s a powerful performance-enhancing drug,” Conte said. “It’s a stamina benefit. You don’t get tired, you just keep rocking. You’d be like the Energizer Bunny during sparring.” That is totally bogus. You get tired with Meldonium like you do if you're not taking it. It aids in circulation and the removal of waste products. It's a medication. It's not an anabolic and shouldn't be banned. It's been okay for use for years. If it were an American product instead of a Latvian product it wouldn't be on the banned list. Abbot Labs doesn't like competition. This was also a way to eliminate sports competitors. Since it's been banned 170 athletes from Russia and CIS countries have tested positive and claim they all quit using it. But I believe they tested over the allowed concentrations. Povetkin certainly didn't and had such a minute trace in his system it would be of no benefit.

VADA is a ripoff of WADA. Muscling in on the testing biz. If you have the foxes in charge of the henhouse what do you get??? There may be another BALCO scandal brewing in a few years because the cleverest crooks generally get caught. But even if they don't get caught I'm confident their asses will be fried in the end. I'm hopeful the Povetkin case ends up in the courts and there'll be a big mess over defamation etc. They need to fight this.

Boxers comport themselves as sportsmen over there and not like WWE cartoon characters like in the US and UK.

As you know court rulings aren't always just... Look how many years (decades) Hurricane Carter fought his legal case before he was released from prison... Look how many innocent black guys end up in prison for 20 or 30 years or more before they win an appeal and justice prevails... How many more prisoners do you think there are who die in prison fighting for justice.. How much luck do you think a Russian boxer is going to have in American courts???? But what you DON'T do is ever accept judicial injustice if you're innocent... You keep fighting your case forever until your dying breath as long as one person will listen to you... Where do you go to get your reputation back??? You have to keep going and get the bastards.

Carter was as guilty as hell despite the shyster lawyers and a liberal judge and Hollywood's lying movies. Here is just one website debunking the media's lies about the murderer:

http://www.graphicwitness.com/carter/

Russia should make boxing real and pull out of all the western alphabet things - start something new with China - and let them keep their phony cartoon champions in the USSA and USSK, the Briggs and Hayes and Wilders, and Doctor Goodman and her Las Vegas NeVADA drug testing racket.

Wilder would much rather have a fight with Arreola or someone like that because him and his handlers never intended to fight Povetkin in the first place. He never even went to Russia. Because they know that Povetkin will give him the same that he gave Mike Perez.

Why China to join Russia? They don't have any problems with WADA and chinese don't care about boxing...

Are you referring to Zhang Junlong? Because if so, there is absolutely nothing "promising" about him. He's a fat 34 year old who's shown the ability to KO cab drivers like Shawn Cox and Jason Gavern.

The idea that Russia and China are going to join forces to form some sort of new anti-corruption boxing commission is utterly laughable.

If it happens, that commission would be more corrupt than anything unless China practices a death penalty for its corrupt members

Yes I was referring to Jun Long Zhang, Gavern might not be a top contender, but KOing him in 3 rounds sounds to me like something Wilder for example couldn't do.

*edit: and don't forget about George Arias, Takam, Hughie Fury, Pulev, all of them couldn't KO him, this Chinese does it within 2 rounds.

You are straight up delusional. Beating a 42 year old George Arias means literally nothing, nor does handing Jason Gavern his 18th loss.

So you suggest that Takam/Hughie Fury/Pulev are jokes as well?
It's not handing Jason Gavern, it's KOing him in 3 rounds. Wilder couldn't do it, AJ struggled as well.

Takam, top 10 for many years, Pulev, top 10 for many years, Hughie Fury, very respected young boy, one of the highest ranked boxers his age.
It's not beating, it's the way how to.

KOing a D-level journeyman that is difficult to KO doesn't mean you're good. Maybe it means you have above average power. But it doesn't mean you're good. This shouldn't be news to anyone who's watched more than a handful of boxing matches. The idea that Zhang should be considered on the level of Takam or Pulev because he KO'd George Arias is so profoundly stupid that you should be embarrassed for suggesting it.

This is a message I just sent to the witless right wingers at "graphicwitness.com"

If you want to know anything about Carter’s case you have to research it objectively. He was framed for murder so egregiously, in a case built entirely on lies and false testimony, that a conservative federal judge freed him on a writ of habeas corpus – which means the judge was so incensed at the injustice done to Carter, that he released Carter immediately, without the need for a new trial... Once Carter’s case was ripped out of the hands of corrupt state courts and went to our federal courts the framing of Hurricane Carter was quickly unraveled and destroyed. Sometimes justice actually prevails in the end if people fight for it long enough.

HELL NO!!!! I believe the facts... But if money goes into somebody's pocket facts quickly get distorted and buried... But it's a FACT that Povetkin passed all his PED tests and a fact that VADA and Victor Conte have been bad actors before. You don't to prison for illegal Steroid distribution if you're an angel.
