if they get the fight made then all credit to them for getting a true elite level champion to the UK, and good luck to them in the fight. The way some people are slating them its like they would rather Golovkin didn't come over.

If you watch Eubank jr sparring Froch, he was walking Froch down, not many people do that and was not in the slightest worried about the punches and Froch is bigger then Golokin. I know it was sparring, but I think Eubank jr has a good chin. Eubank sr says it is in the Genes. What we know is that Eubank has fast hands, great combinations, throws plenty of punches, has youth, stamina and confidence. I think he wins if takes Golokins shots, it comes down to that. Take away Golokin's extra power and he is not an A level fighter.

I'm not saying that your right or wrong if Golovkin didn't have the power then he's not an a level fighter, although I disagree with that statement. The facts are he has got that power and he bases his fighting style around that. The way he cuts off the ring and walks opponents down is all down to the fact he can hit has hard as he does.its like saying if I had David beckhams face I'd be good looking and the fact is I ain't an I'm a ugly c@&t

A quick look at Golovkin's amateur record should give you a clue that he is an A level fighter.

lol, good way of putting, but what I meant was that without the power or if Eubank jr can take the power, then Eubank jr has a great chance.

well he was much younger then and that was the amateurs, otherwise Korobov would have been a pro world champion by now.

You have to give up the British title when you fight for world honours I believe, certainly that used to be the case, unless it's changed.

Even if he has the best chin in the world, that won't stop him losing if he's getting consistently outlanded. He might last the distance, but barring a cut or other injury, he's not got the skills to beat GGG.

I like Eubank Jr, but he's never going to have the kind of skills he would need to beat a fighter like GGG. He didn't have the amateur background to acquire them.

No he developed them in tough America gyms, worked with some of the top trainers and sparred with some of The world's best fighters, as his father did.

Whatever. If the fight transpires we'll see the difference in skill levels. Jr is a good fighter but ggg is on a whole other level.

Precisely, that's rubbish.

Anyway taking away his power, is like taking away Mayweather's timing, or RJJ's reflexes, or Tyson's speed.

The fact is GGG has got that power, and plenty else besides, so it's a nonsense to say so.

Take away any fighters; best assests and they will obviously be diminished, however the idea that GGG is a one dimensional slugger, in a complete crock of shite.

His father was never an elite level fighter, despite having a longer amateur career than Jr, I love Eubank Sr, but he was never once considered the best in his division, and openly admitted that he never wanted to take on Toney or Nunn, either of which would have beaten him pretty handily. He had the heart of a lion, but he was not on a par with GGG skill wise.

He beat Benn, who beat some very good fighters and defended his title many times.

People are forgetting how incredibly easy GGG is to hit. I if Eubank can take his shots and comes in with the game plan of putting GGG on the back foot (which I'm sure will be the gameplan) he could actually beat the living daylights out of GGG. It will be target practice when he starts throwing his fast multi punch combinations. However, he will have to have an extremely good chin because he too gets hit too easily.

We have to assume GGG can definitely take a few of Eubank best shots for a few rounds at least. I suspect Eubank has an iron chin. Apparently Erislandy Savon gave him a hiding for several rounds and Savon, even with sparring gloves, hits harder than GGG. Eubank wasn't worried about Frochs power when they sparred.

I think Eubank has a very good chance in this one to be honest.

I think their levels are simply not the same and eubank will be brave and maybe even competitive at points but I don't see any more than that.
