They aren't dragging it out. It's not signed yet.
Nobody said they were dragging it out, I said the situation was dragging on.
December is fast approaching, when do they decide to set there sights on a different opponent?

Joshua vs Ustinov for super title with winner ordered to fight Klitschko maybe? With Ortiz taking step aside money & Browne fighting Haye for Regular. Maybe Ortiz can fight Oquendo.

Of the names listed I'd prefer to see him fight Joseph Parker. Why the hell is David Price's name continuously coming up in regards to Joshua? Price isn't even anywhere near title contention at this point.

Its going to be Price the opponent, with Eddie having to put on a massive undercard. Who else will take the Joshua fight on such little notice.

I also don't believe the reports of Joshua / Wlad happening in March. If Wlad / Joshua happens in 2017 it will be in Wembley, when Joshua will be more ready for the fight if he is successful in his next two fights.

Yeah just read Dan rafs article, of course if he was up for it wlad would have just fought for the IBF title.

Hearn would be completely mad to put AJ in with Price.

It's gonna be an absolute shocker with this amount of notice. All we can hope is Pulev fancies the job. Had the Klitschko carrot not come along it could have been possibly ended up being Parker. Now as people mention it may end up being Price purely down to the fact he will probably shift the most tickets and PPVs. If it is it will be infuriating because the stance that Price has taken does not deserve to be rewarded.

Surely this date will get cancelled now?

Can't they just make the Wlad fight for when he is scheduled to be fit?

Been saying for a while that it will be Price. If it is I hope he knocks out AJ. I like Joshua but really cannot stand Fast Eddie. Would love to see his face if his prized protected asset got floored.

Seeing as Hearn is already talking up a fight against Klitschko in the spring, I don't think we'll be seeing anyone impressive (or marketable)

I reckon it'll be Molina.

Price is a realistic choice, unfortunately it is so.

David Price winning version of the world heavyweight championship would be the icing on the cake of the farcical boxing year that is 2016.

Yafai is fighting for a world title that night and sounds like Chisora / Whyte is happening also that night

If Eddie makes Joshua vs Price he deserves all of the abuse on twitter he gets. Price is an absolute disgrace to boxing and is the most deluded boxer I've ever seen. Thinks he's entitled to a world title shot. It's pathetic.

Agreed, but a bitter sweet pill to swallow to see the look on Eddie's face.

I would have described the drugs cheats he fought as disgraces to boxing

Thompson's performances were nothing special. Even the pro price commentators admitted Thompson was on the way down.
